First Impressions with Polaroid SX-70 

I have 4 different sx-70 models Love these things so much

Amazing shots! Little tip, you can place a piece of tape on the underside of the camera where the little trigger is that resets the exposure wheel when you close it. It’ll keep the position you set it so you don’t have to constantly adjust it each time you open it

I like how you tweaked the video to give that polaroid look.

30c warm photo ,15c normal tone and 7 dgress a bluish photo.

No need to buy a Frog Tongue, which can fray over time and eventually cause a jam. Every pack of film comes with a darkslide and there’s a method of slotting it over the rollers before you take a shot that will do the same job. I’ve been using this technique since The Impossible Project days and it’s worked every single time without fail.

I think the reason they don't sell SX-70 film in store like Best Buy or Target is so people won't accidentally put it in there i-type cameras and end up with a really dark photo.

Loved it! Little tip: don’t shoot anything directly into the sun, Polaroid camera’s don’t like that. The frog tongue will be a big help on getting better color, the green shift on the top of the photo’s will go away. And don’t clean your light meter, looks like it works perfectly fine to me!

The electric eye on the sx-70 is famous for corroding and throwing of the light reading… I’ve shot tons of (modern) sx-70 film and never compensated anything! Def worth checking it out!
