Its great to see that you’re moving forward and doing well in life! I hope to be in that position one day, but for now I’m still working on myself to become a competitive applicant. I think it would be great to see a video about how you got into PA school especially with the low GPA. It would be helpful to a lot of people including myself. To tell you the truth, I did not do clinical at a urgent care. However, i am wiling to take a skills workshop in order to improve my skills in these areas. Am in Michigan and I believe that because of this lack of knowledge, that's why am not hired as of yet. I do need the experience in order to improve. Did NP school taught you suturing, splinting, etc.
I would have ran from this job!!! Good luck though... sounds like a poorly run urgent care! Scary for patients, especially not even having an RN! A brand new PA or NP in my opinion, should not be alone!!!
