One of the most popular Korean Street Foods are the Korean Corn Dogs, also called Gamja Hot Dog (감자 핫도그) in Korean is this the Potato Version, which we introduce to you in this “Korean Corndogs in Berlin” Video in the Corndog Ninjas Food Truck in Berlin. The crispy, juicy taste explosion in a Dough Coating with various Toppings and Sauces was invented in South Korea. This has now become internationally known as the “Korean Corn Dog” or “Mozzarella Corn Dog”. The hallmarks of the variation of the Classic US Corn Dogs are the Yeast Dough and the Various Breading Topping Options with Potato Pieces, Honey Cornflakes, Hot Flaming, Parmesan, Sugar or Fried Onions as well as the Various Sauces.

[2] Chicken Halal Sausage
The main difference between US Corn Dogs and Korean Corn Dogs is the Dough. American Corn Dogs are breaded in a cornmeal batter and Korean Corn Dogs are breaded in a Yeast Batter. Korean Corn Dogs are also topped off with a pinch of Sugar. A Korean Potato Corn Dog is called a “Gamja Hot Dog” (감자 핫도그) in Korean.
[3] Mozzarella Cheese
The Korean version of US Corn Dogs does not contain a complete Hot Dog. This is a Sausage and Cheese combination or a simple Mozzarella Stick that is dipped in a fluffy Yeast Dough and then rolled in a variety of Crunchy Toppings - including Special Panko Breadcrumbs, Honey Cornflakes, Pieces of French Fries - before it is then fried, sprinkled with Sugar and covered with various Sauces.
[4] The daily Cheese Leftovers are given to a Pizzeria
Nothing is thrown away here, but the Leftover Cheese from the day of production is then given to a friendly Pizzeria to be used there.
[5] Five Sauces - Cocktail Mayo & Korean Spicy Sauce are Homemade
Ketchup, Cheese Sauce, Honey Mustard, Cocktail Mayo (Homemade) & Korean Spicy Sauce (Homemade).

The Korean version of US Corn Dogs does not contain Corn Flour, but is dipped in a fluffy Yeast Dough.
[7] Vegan Sausage
The Vegan Option at Corndog Ninjas is of course prepared in a separate Deep Fryer. Unfortunately, we didn't have this in mind when we were filming because we were primarily concentrating on the meat variants. Sorry.
