I broke the Vampire Survivors world record highest level AGAIN! This time on Mad Forest after some lucky plays, rosary spawns, and XP dodging, I managed to achieve level 223. Truly a crazy ending to this run. @@linegrinder Good question! The dev implemented a game mechanic where if there are too many XP gems on screen they will stop dropping visually from mobs and start combining into one singular gem, which begins holding all of the surplussed XP. My goal often is to find and dodge this big gem, to make sure I am not accidentally leveling too much, too early.
@@PaffDaddyTR interesting. I just start playing the game and my first reaction is like everyone else and that's to grab every gems. If you know xp dodging, it only mean one thing. This game is your life xD This game make my left thumb hurt using the controller on my 5th game. The highest mobs I face was those large wings bat's and black maggots looking things. They can't be killed.
This is a moment like being there when plate armor was in Minecraft. It only existed for a few hours before it was removed. Your pfp was the King's Bible with a happy face instead of a cross.

@@BenEvolved yep. You see them play AAA 60$ games less then a 2e/3$ game. You know its a hit. The last game with that kind of re-playability was Hades and what a game was that. I hope they support mobile
Is the trick here to not level up much after getting all upgrades, so the very last gathering of the XP gets you more levels? Would the XP needed for lvl 223 be the same if you collected everything during the run? This would explain why you didn't have the evolved pentagram
This run happened before pentagram evolution came around. The thought process before was that enemies health are determined by their health value multiplied by your current level, i.e. the lower level you are, the lower health the enemies have, the more kills you will get. However with the new pentagram, this is ignored

wow in this particular level it's impressive but i'm quite sure it'll be easier at the library level ,without knowing that there is a leaderboeard for the game ,i did 206 (and certainly more ,because it wasn't my goal so i didn't paid attention all along , i was farming gold) with max curse you may crush your own record i think
Played a round tonight and I think a strategy for max levels involves wings.... You can speed along and kill things faster than normal. Collect XP with evolved pentagram. Maximum AOE destruction moving as fast as possible. Challenge.

Early on in these runs more projectiles meant faster leveling, so I prioritized something that meant more consistent damage at enemies closest to me. I want to wait until I get all my passives before picking up spinach, so that spinach doesn’t take a slot up and becomes a bonus passive.
So 223 is the record? Lol I didn't know that. Playing casually I have a screnschot where i reach 212. Almost all runs around 170-180lvl i Thought it's normal :D P.S.: Patch ~ 0.8
Wait, does one red death instakill. I completely tanked one with max whip, cross (gennaro). but the other one got me instantly at 31 min. All my other setups end at 29 min mark.
really? this was the world record? things must've been different my brother got very high level not aiming for a world record at all and he hadnt had the game for a super long time
Yeah, world records aren't tracked anymore for Vampire Survivors since the game is so different than it was a year ago. This was when we had about 20% of the total game available at the time.
