A friend heard this video on my system. He says, wow those speakers sound good. I look at him, shake my head. Then I break it to him, you are not listening to those speakers, you are listening to mine.
@@Skye_the_toller it depends - if your headphones are ultra low distortion and perfectly match the Harman curve (Hifiman HE400S comes to mind), you do get a really good listen to the speakers in the recording. RU-vid's compression algorithm becomes the chokehold.
once u get past 10 grand, the increase of sound quality diminishes rapidly. usually the only thing u will pay extra for is, giant size, bigger bass, exotic materials and a statement piece, that’s it.
rubbish... you have no understanding of material behavior or the abilities of human hearing... yes..i know.. for you wire is wire.. cable is cable.... like f1 is just a car - you could do the same for 1/10the the price, right?! smh... Thank GOD there are others willing to put in the time and energy to push past boundaries - VERY DIFFICULT boundaries to let us experience for free what the best of humanity is capable of.. kudos to the engineers involved - we salute your efforts
i have seen a 6 million dollar home theatre. dude have 4 tube amps that each produced 2500 watts. and eighteen , 18 inch snell subwoofers in 7 foot tall boxes. and some crazy speakers. 100k sony projector and an 18 foot screen.
Listened on AKG K371’s and they sound good, but I don’t know if you heard anything you’ve never experienced before. Seems like they might be using the 2kHz dip “disappearing act” trick. Cool system. Not for me.
OCD mikey open baffle system for $100k with biggest set tube monoblocks on earth fully active is superior , as there is no box! And no passive crossovers
As a huge SF fan having owned several models during the great Franco Serblin years, was expecting better even with RU-vid limitations etc etc! Perhaps Mac electronics are limiting factor here. Thanks for sharing
It's still tough...but they do have a lot of new cool tech in the speakers. Here's a link to the full video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zMQGDdxcx-Q.html
They have two new amps powering each sub at around 2K watts and then 1K watts into each tower. More information in the full video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zMQGDdxcx-Q.html
Don't need any headphones , on my Denon X3800H /Directional Bass /Auro 3D speaker configuration 11.4 channel Front Heights / Rear Heights sound Amazing 😍
Any idea how much the whole system cost including all those McIntosh amps and player? If played metal or rock music, would it sound good with Suprema? If compared with McIntosh xrt2.1 and MBL extreme, w/c one is best for heavy metal music?
Sorry but this is dumb. You can get better sound with a fraction of the investment, provided you choose the right gear with a good room correction like Dirac ART. BTW, Macintosh is a snake oil company. Their MX123 processor is a actually an overpriced Marantz AV8800 processor in disguise...
Maybe it is the room. Maybe it is the recording. For whatever the reason is, this does NOT sound good. I know it is dumbed down by YT, but I hear a constant room resonance. I have seen/heard YT recordings of great gear in the $20,000 range that sound much better than this. I am CONVINCED the problem does not lie with the speakers.
Большое количество драйверов, особенно в басовом регистре - ничего хорошего не дает. Получается жирный размазанный бас, независимо от усилителя, даже такого идеального качества, как McIntosh.
🔊🔊🔊🔊❤🤍💚😍😍😍😍😍 Im happy just looking at them ... Nice quality recording too. ( for a hotel room ) Need to meet them in person ( and YOU too .. gah .. I never get to the same shows as you ... Florida? Axpona? ) Awesome content.. No one else doing this stuff - Always glad that you are. What are your impressions? ( inbox me ?) They seem .. ' zingy ' .. but hard to tell with so many layers between the actual ..and recording .. YT my dac .. speakers/headphones ..etc ..etc [ As I said.. im happy just looking at them.
