“PMS” adalah seuah aransemen terbaik VOB dengan besutan musik lokal dengan lick kental dari rock heavy metal progresivenya jamrud dan power metal.... sebagai referinsi musiknya... emang vob tungku jenius dan bener2 jenius... lulus SMA tapi bermusiknya punya tersusun rapi seperti susunan sebuah karya ilmiah yang gak ngawur dan punya referensi yang real... padahal kolab sama jamrud cuma 1 season aja.... gua gak bisa mikir otak vob bisa sambil dengar karakter musik mereka dan langsung dituangin dalam lagu.... dan penyatuan multy genre dari berbagai unsur musik tertuang dalam satu lagu...🤩💥💫 dengan leader... Marsya... MARSYA dengan vokal nge-rap dan unsur gitar lick jamrud, power metal, gigi band, dream timteng loe joe band juga muse dan linkin park. dibungkus dengan unsur musik widi (tappyng slap jazz funk rocknya +bondan prakoso, Funky kopral, omelete, kotak dll)... juga si anak jenius siti dengan ide gila2annya yang bikin ritme berubah2 dalam segmen lagunya dengan ciri khas twint hellycopternya..... jadi baik cover maupun featuring dengan musisi beda aliranpun nyambung dan bahkan menciptakan sebuah musik dengan cord dan ritme baru dalam kemasan aran semen yang di hasilkan...🤩💥💫💯💢
PMS stands for Perempuan Merdeka Seutuhnya [ women who are completely independent ] The lyrics contain a protest against discriminatory and judgmental attitudes which are often directed at women who have mindsets, perspectives, attitudes and desires or dreams that are different from the general norm in the mainstream. VOB made their new song a celebration for women who have succeeded in breaking down this stereotype and represent the voices of women from various regions that are still heavily influenced by social norms wrapped in patriarchal values🖤 This single was written by Marsya (vocals and guitar), Widi (bass), and Sitti (drums) when the three of them were still in high school in 2017. “We wrote this song with the leftover energy from school. The thing is, at that time it happened that school activities were hectic. So after school, we gathered in the studio for a workshop on this song," Marsya said in a press release🖤
