I have the regular catalyst pants and I’ve been wearing them a lot this past season from 20s to one day when it went into the 60s. I like them a lot I personally think they breath well enough to where I wouldn’t need to have zippers on mine to dump heat. The only thing I would change is to make the top 2 pockets like regular ones without zippers, I don’t zip them up anyway. There so light and move with you that I kina forget I’m wearing pants in the woods. Good for stands and spot and stalk I like them alot

Yeah I love my catalyst soft shell pant, vest, and coat. The Foundry are just a little more feature rich.

7:00 They do make them in 32 length? The shop I went to had 32x32, I got a 34x32. Great video.

I believe the Corrugate pads are removed by pulling your pant legs up and removing them from the bottom. Not sure though? LOL I just ordered a pair of them. Thanks

Did you end up doing a review after saddle hunting in them? Love this review but wanted to get your take on them with a saddle setup

We never did another review but I did use these pants heavily last season. I have zero complaints and they performed amazingly while saddle hunting. The knee pads did offer enough padding for leaning against the tree but if you need a lot of padding for your knees external pads are probably best.

Hey! Just got these and I'm a little worried about noise. Do you think fabric noise will be a problem in a NJ stand? I've got the sanctuary 2 bibs as well, but I feel like it's probably way too early for that beast even though I run cold.

Some people have voiced a concern about noise but I have not had any issues myself. My catalyst soft shell pants are quieter but these are more durable feature rich. I have used these and the corrugated foundry to still hunt and haven't experienced too much noise. You may get some noise if the pants rub against the metal of the stand. I saddle hunt so I dont have any experience with these from a stand.

It varies on which coat you are referring to. I recommend reaching out to their customer service department for specific sizing questions. Dylan has always been a huge help for us with questions like that.

Are the zippers 2 way? Bottom up and top down, or just top down.

You can zip down from top or up from bottom.

What temps do you think you could wear these with a good base layer?

That’s a tough answer since e people feel the cold differently. I have worn these with no base layers in the stand in high 40’s for 3hrs and was fine. I felt the cold but it was unbearable. Last season I wore the soft shell catalyst pant in low teens with the Furnace base layer. These are very versatile since the full length leg zipper offers the ability to dump heat if needed.

I would recommend these to your arsenal then. I have the Sancuary and honestly I hardly wear them being a saddle hunter. Even when I used a lock on stand I didn’t use them much since I walk long distances to get to my trees. If you are a mobile hunter these are awesome pants
