First Lite SANCTUARY 2.0 Jacket Impressions, Is It Worth It? 

I appreciate that, if your going to spend that kind of money it’s important to know exactly what your getting. Especially when the only place to try the stuff on is in Idaho.

much appreciated! after a couple seasons im still in the same situation as you 🙃, fits great with a baselayer but arms are pretty tight with a hoodie. not sure i would want a large though. its plenty warm with only baselayers but makes it harder to layer with much else. other than that, very pleased!

I’m not super surprised, this was a very early edition and I’ve noticed my first lite rain jacket in 2 different colors, have different options inside. Looks, and one has a hook loop, one has nothing 🤷‍♂️. Kind of odd but hopefully just upgrading as they go

@@bryce8174 haha. Ain't that how it goes. Last season I had bought the scentlok be1 fortress suit and I hated it. The waterproof layer was so loud. It'd squeak every time I took a breath. That was in really cold weather, like single digits. And while it might not have been noticeable by a deer at 25 yards, it drove me nuts. I wish this FL suit was waterproof but I guess that's the tradeoff. Waterproof or quiet.

I wear med shirts and 31-32 waist pants. the coat fits normal in the body and a little snug in the sleeves. I think they did that for use with bows. im only about 160# and i wouldn't want it any tighter so large may be a better option, but im also 5'8 and i dont usually like how long larges are in the torso

Get a size large! I'm 5' 8" got sanctuary 2.0 size large in jacket and bibs. I'm currently 194 lbs and it fits perfect. I layer the furnace underneath. I hunt central/northern Wi.

As for layering, i run mine with only a couple layers of merino, they are a little tighter especially in the sleeves, i believe for use with bows. As far as an all day sit in single digits, maybe. Depends on wind, cover, heat, and precip but i would feel that its as good as anything out there for the cold. That being said i hunt in single digits often but ive neve pulled an all day exposed. I feel that the hands, head, and feet would be the biggest challenge for me but i love the jacket so far

I bought the bibs and pack them to my tree and throw on at base. They are the warmest best piece of clothing I have ever bought. Used to suffer in the cold and I have not been cold a single time since using the bibs. I hunt A LOT late season

The hood does not come off. There is not even a detectable seam between the collar and hood. I'm not a huge fan of bulk around my neck/head but this hood does feels decent up and falls away nicely when down .
