I’ve been tinkering around with the game, and it’s actually a perfect game to play when you have a few minutes on break. Love mixing both Orcs and Dwarfs.
I've been playing this for months. It has changed a lot, I'm hoping this sponsorship is a sign that they've finished with reworks. It is a good game, especially for a mobile game. It has so far been quite free to play friendly, though it's steadily been becoming less so.
i clicked on this video a few hours ago because i got fooled by the "ARCANE" in the title, thinking this was about the riot games show. i ended up downloading the game. ive been farming for 5 hours straight. thank you regis.
Holy moly, you're level 89 already?! By the way, I've been playing this game since the alpha, and there's so much improvement compared to the early versions. What stands out to me the most is that running a multi-race setup is now viable, like Orc+Dwarf or Neutral+Dead, whereas in the early version, you could only run a mono-race setup.
seeing how he had only 20 battles when going to the arena and how he does not have an active season pass but it is a sponsored video I would guess the dev gave him an elevated account
I assume the same, given that he has high level relics and has unlocked demons (and is sponsored lol), but also doesn't know the handful of races or that it tells you the 3 races you'll see in each game. Which is totally fine, don't get me wrong, I'm not calling out our King of Cards 😆 I'm glad he's getting paid to play a fun game lol
Just tried it, and suddenly I've spent 40+ minutes playing it haha. The only auto battlers I've played are TFT and Auto Chess. This one is probably my favorite so far
You can only discard a card in your hand. Some cards create a copy of themselves which will give you a card that you can basically infinitely discard building power and health every turn with the right combination of cards.
The asynchronous thing is actually an anti selling point for me I think. When I play a multiplayer game I want to know I'm really playing against another person, not a copy of a person from the past. There's a reason racing games have multiplayer where you directly race, rather than just having you go against people's time trial records as the only form of competition.
Losing the turn timer alone more than makes up for this imo, in Hearthstone BGs the turn timer both drags out your short turns immensely and severely limits some of your more complicated turns, it's probably the biggest issue with the game, especially for mobile players. You still are playing against other players, and arguably in a more significant way, as the only real difference between real time and asynchronous in auto battlers is the ability for your opponents to pivot builds to counter you, which it doesn't seem this game is designed around anyways. In hearthstone bgs you can swap to a poison build in a single turn or something, but in this game don't really have to worry about that. Anyways in the end it's subjective, but imo the QoL and removal of cheesy pivots makes it way more enjoyable overall I think. Super Auto Pets almost had async perfect, but all rounds were against a completely new random opponent so you couldn't anticipate for who you were against.
Man i hate you so much XD Ever since you promoted this game on one of your videos, i have been so glued to it that i have been skipping snap XD Its extremely addicting ahahah (honestly now, thank you for the recommendation( Its a lot of fun, but i do still think there is some unbalance. Where unlike snap, lvling up allows you to upgrade your cards which ends up being a huge deal at times. Still been a very pleasant surprised. Feels like a TFT, league of legends mode, meets Snap, but with Warcraft aesthetics. I genuinely thought this was a blizzard game ahahah
