I’m so happy that your home was spared and no damage was done on the inside. The outside will be a lot of work and take time for the pastures to dry out. It was when i realized the world did not save my soul, I stopped worrying about the outside appearance. Clean is great, painted face does not change your heart, so it is not necessary. "makeup..." One day I had plans with friends, and was running late, and completely forgot to put makeup on. On the way to our destination, I realized I had no makeup on. After that day, I never put makeup on again. To be honest, at first, for special occasions, I would put a little on. That didn't last long. Long story short, it was the most liberating thing I've ever done.

I can get away with it, depending on what I'm wearing, but still can't bring myself to go out in public without one. I had to buy new ones, and thankfully, no more underwire. My mom says they look like training bras. Most comfortable bra I've ever worn.

Uriel is so hard working, he just jumps right in and does what has to be done. He has a family, he needs woki to support them. It could be difficult for hm to find a job because of the language barrier. Whatever, Uriel's job has become the Morrow's!! I'm sure it's how he is able to support his family. I have lived in various trailers all of my life, and I have a need to tell you all this because I know you won't get mad at me or take it the wrong way - the water was pretty high under you all's homes and they need to be aired out (take some of the skirting down on those that are completely closed up) to make sure the floor materials under the homes dry out quickly from the underside. I am still living in a manufactured home and you will need to check out the insulation underneath the floors or you will have mold and mildew problems.
Very true all homes need to be aired out under neath or will mold they have house drying machines that work wonderful and can rent them better check soon before all dryer are rented out do to Houston flooding and many other areas
@@catiel8978 All but Gi and Pawpaw and Kim and Levi are living in mobile homes because they lost their homes in Harvey. I haven't heard about anybody losing anything in the other two floods Ben talks about. Care of a mobile home is not the same as a home on a slab. There is usually a coat of some type of tar substance that coats the outside and from there up is it plywood and insulation. And as Lester said the ductwork between the outside coating and the inside floor needs to be checked to make sure the water has not penetrated there. As the other two or three people answering above are also experienced you can take all of our word that extra work is needed to make sure the floor's don't' fall out of their homes.
Dan and Lou you have to be proud of Jake and Bri. They jumped right in to get things done. It's amazing how quickly Jake Buddy and Steph emptied out Jake's lower level. Kim Tina Ben Elijah and Buddy Steph and even little Elora working so hard in PawPaw and Gigis house. Even Uriel was a great help with the pine tree and working at ISS. Jami bringing in food and working at ISS Lester too. Family is a beautiful thing.

I think that possibly may have been Zack, the roommate of Tony, Kim's son. That tree fell close to the mobile home where they live. I had seen on someone else's video yesterday where Logan had his skidsteer there moving telephone poles that had floated up there between the sanctuary and their houses.
@@suzanneyoung8011 Yeah those were Logans utility poles and they are each worth 300 dollars and up. There are dozens of them on each fence line and some of the yards, I'd be rounding them up too. Hope he didn't lose too many down the Jacinta.

Sometime when you all have a moment, you should take a big family group photo, but with Uriel right there in the middle. He has prooven, and is family now. He loves the people, property, and animals just as much as you all do. I know he gets paid to help, but he is always there when you all need him. And with a big smile on his face. Morrow Hill family has been blessed to not have Harvey like flooding this time around. Everyone works together to lighten the burden of others, as well as their own. Uriel, that includes you! You work tirelessly to ease that burden, and we appreciate you!
It’s amazing how quickly the water receded around the homes. Uriel may be a paid worker for the Morrow family but his work ethics is unreal!! No job is too beneath him. The entire Morrow clan are hard hard workers and a well run unit when times are difficult!

Thank you Dan for taking the time to update. Since finding Lester on social media after Harvey, I became invested in everything and everyone on and off Morrow Hill. You all have become a far off friend. I live in Ontario Canada in kind of a weather bubble where we do not see the weather extremes that you have in Southern Texas. Lester barndaminium is trashed like Pawpaw's...everything got wet. Dan you were great getting that giant tree out of the way with Uriel. That was really the largest problem this morning besides Lester's quick sand driveway area that kept sinking suv's. You all worked together and got stuff in order. I don't think it would be as easy for us city people to get our heads around that as good as you guys did. You are a true leader.
I have to agree Dan, it is Jake & Lyssa & your parents I feel so bad for right now. Thank God that Lester & Jami had a place you could get all your animal to and they are in such great hands. Dan I’m so glad things aren’t near as bad as it could have been , I think you and Lou cleaning out the shop was a great idea ti make room for storage fir others and also a gathering place to easily get to stored items !! Luckily all the homes except Jake and PawPaws are ok without water damaged inside , and y’all will get that taken care of as a family ! The surrounding yards debris can be cleaned up as y’all can get to it ! This disaster has made me shut my complaining pie hole about the renovation chaos in my house right now, and thank God above I don’t have to worry too much about Mother Nature here in Central Georgia. I’ve switched between 12 RU-vid channels, several times a day, to make sure everyone is safe. Thank you Lord for protecting the Morrow family and all the critters and place a hand of protection and peace as they face this cleanup, and for those displaced in this flood. ❤🙏🏻
I love your positivity throughout this video Dan and Lou, I don't think anyone has the right to say or judge you, there were so many family members already helping PawPaw and GiGi. Your sister Tina is a power house rounding up her boys to come and help out. Buddy and Stephanie helped PawPaw with the bees, then Jake and Lyssa in their house. I'm sure in days ahead you will be needed then. I praise God houses can be cleaned up and repaired, all your family are safe, all the animals on the hill are safe. Norma here. Praise God that you and everyone living on Morrow Hill, including every single animal, survived this disaster. It’s a shame that so much was destroyed especially at your mom and dad’s house as well as Jake and Lyssa’s house. However, as Mr Rogers once said - In times of disaster, look for the helpers. There is so much help on and off Morrow Hill that we all know everything will be back to normal in no time. You all have a long road ahead of you, but with so many helping hands the load will be much easier. Those who didn’t sustain much damage are right there helping those who did. Everyone is looking out for each other and with God’s help you will slowly, but surely get back to normal. Special thanks to Kim, Tina and her boys, Stephanie and Buddy as well as Uriel. The flood didn’t impact them as severely as the rest, but there they are doing whatever they can to help. Special thanks also go to Lester and Jami who are housing and caring for so many of the Morrow Hill animals as well as having to cleanup their own damages at ISS. Jami even brought everyone a big bucket of chicken. You and Lou were very fortunate, but still have a lot to do. We all realize that once you’re all done cleaning up your mess, you’ll be ready and able to help anyone still in need. You already helped Uriel with that huge tree.

Remember Lester & Jami can also house some of the cows at JL Ranch. They have plenty of room there if this ever happens again. I am in awe of all of you!!!!!! What amazing tasks you all accomplished getting ready for the possible flood, getting through the flood and now starting the clean up. Pop and Lester sure spread their knowledge of building a fence. Great to see all the fences still standing. One less thing to worry about and getting animals back to where they belong when the water goes down.

@@daniel_morrow_outdoors just a concern, you and others with double wide homes may want to check underneath. Blocks can shift from water flow or soft ground. I would add more to be safe. A shift can cause one side to lean even a tiny bit and cause home to separate. Also, the insulation underneath the floors very well could have sucked up water and moisture. I would definitely let the others know. You also need to remove skirting and air out well. Also, remind Bri they never came back to finish her repairs in the laundry room. She mentioned getting flys from the hole behind washer. If they left a hole in the belly where insulation is.. I hope it is all ok but once skirting off they sit low to ground. Your all in my thoughts and prayers.
I was like that until I became a nurse. Well…. That cured that. You have no idea. The thing that makes me do that is vomit. If my patient vomits I’ll buy the CNA 2 days of lunch to get it gone then I can give the med. Hey, some people can’t see or smell certain things I can. ( wound care), so I help them out. Anyway that just reminded me of that.

Please check Gunner's front feet and legs. He appears to have a slight limp. I wonder if he has a cut to or something in his right front paw. Could be a reason for his "complaining." I am so glad that the damage to your place is not as bad as it could have been. I am so thankful that your house and pool are okay. You managed to protect as much as you could. Dan…I’m not sure if you guys all see this or not but one thing that I have learned from watching everything that you all are going through is that you guys…all Marrows…are one HUGE tight nit family. When one of you needs something ALL of you are right there helping however you can. You may argue, not always agree with each other and fight occasionally but you guys are a GREAT example of what a true American family is all about! You all stop drop and roll through everything for each other! This IS what true heartfelt, unconditional love is all about! ❤️

I am so happy yours, Bri's, Kim's, Stephs, LE's and JoAnns homes didn't get water in them. I wish PawPaw and GiGi could have a ton of sandbags in one of the large barns where if there is predictions of another flood then everyone could start packing up the sandbags all around their house and then in front of the front door once out. Just to try and save their home and furniture and electronics. Uriel is an absolute blessing. I am so happy Lester met him while he was working at LHL. This man works so hard and he is so good with tractor work to get things done and he is a real blessing with the horses. I can't believe he stayed to help on Morrow Hill. That shows what an awesome man he is. So happy all the animals are good but dehydrated. Lester said he was going to bring water over for them. I love how everyone pulls together and starts getting the jobs done. I am praying for all of you to stay safe and healthy during all of this and praying the next rainfall doesn't flood things again.
Watching all of yall and the family and Uriel coming as well to help has been amazing. It has helped things move quicker and smoother with Jake and Lyssa's and PawPaw and Gigi's homes trying to get back to as normal and comfortable as possible to eat, sleep, shower, and bring new life soon with the baby. You and Lou have absolutely done a lot through all of this and although Jame & Lester and Tina & Rob don't live on Morrow Hill any longer, they have also helped with cleanup and food and the animals. It all works because you all work together. That's the way family should be. We love every one of yall and are continuing prayers and will be here throughout the cleanup and repairs. We live in northern Florida, so we absolutely understand the process of all of it.

I have never been thru a flood before, and I cannot imagine the stress a person can be under not knowing bad things can get. My prayer will continue for all the Morrows!
