I just tried it. The cars are indeed more stable now. The Cadillac used to be undrivable for me but is pretty stable now with the default setup. Also hypercars used to suddenly spin the moment I locked up the wheels which was like someone suddenly pushed the back of the car to the side, now I tested it multiple times on Cadillac which used to do it a lot and the Ferrari, they don't spin anymore. Also the steering on hypercars used to be weird at center like it was a bit unresponsive, now it feels natural.

I was there for Lone Star LeMans a few weeks ago. Couldn't believe how good the Alpine sounds. Like a tightly wound rb26 constantly spooling. Haven't tried the game yet but I'm probably about to bite. Hope all has been well bro.

I was there too with my family for our first ever WEC race. The Alpine definitely sounded cool. Kind of like a jet fighter. The Cadillac definitely sounded the best.

@@katanamast279 yes the Caddy was monstrous. Liked the backfiring of the Peugeot too. Glad to get a chance to finally see the cars I like driving most on sim. Just hate I couldn't get a lap

LMU is the best sim these days but expensive DLC when it is still in early release and buggy with some core features missing is a bit rich

@@awakeandwatching953VR performance is good, considering the fact it is not official yet. Also, with the last update, you can use the HUD an ingame menu in VR finally. It's not perfect bur it improved.

I agree with you the Alpine feels just as good as say the Toyota / Ferrari. The Isotta for me was a little tricky to drive, though. But yeah, great update imo.

In their latest update video, they state they are still working on it. This latest update adds the HUD in VR for people using hidden option (+VR in your Steam launch properties).

I think LMU needs to be released to console pretty soon. I have been racing on ACC and have been doing pretty good as far as my records go (pretty close to real records as it says). But it’s starting to get so tiring and the only cars you get to race are GT cars. I only use it because it is the most realistic one on ps5. It seems like this game is so realistic and I like how this game is based on WEC. I think LMU can get better sales if they release on consoles and a lot of people have been asking for that including me. Not everyone has or wants to use PC. Anyways great video🏁

@@tjones666 yeah, I’d agree with that. It should have been 2024 content from the start. Its a phenomenal sim for me, but their pricing / sales model leaves a lot to be desired

@@SimRacing604thanks for replying. I’m impressed with the quality of your voice sound given that you don’t have it directly in front of your mouth. I use that mic and I need to have it very close to get similar performance, and for sim racing having it in front is uncomfortable. Perhaps I got some settings wrong 😵‍💫

Do you feel the grip limits of the tires? After one week with LMU I am unable to feel any grip levels beside "downforce heaviness". Braking is guessing, but no difference at all in the FFB unfortunately.

They’ve made some improvements to the tyres and the ffb. Tyres no longer feel like they’re on a hockey rink on the first lap.

I love it and been there a few times for F1 and WEC....just don't love driving it. It is a fun track but any car with speed I have trouble right after the esses section connecting those turns. The rest of the track isn't that bad but it's like 1 more then somewhere between the back straight and the final turn thats a mf.

The exterior sound of the Alpine is quite good but the interior sound (mainly downshifts) seems off compared to another title which to this point is the best LMDh I've driven. I'm about 80/20 on the fence about getting LMU. The ability to now save races has really moved me from 50/50

I wanna enjoy LMU, but it just runs really bad on my PC. I can get F124 or AMS2 running max settings, but LMU just runs really badly on my PC, and I don't know why

Dont put “Oponent or rival detail car” on the Max setting. Just put it in high and 16 visible cars.

@@mitchelldiaz1991 I think it just runs badly on some PCs. I can't run it on low setting all around with just me on track without it freezing and stuttering. But I can run ACC on high/epic and AC on high. Can't figure out why either. I'll see if the update changes anything.

Do you have MSI afterburner or an AMD GPU? If yes to any, that's the reasons why. Msi afterburner you simply disable it and it magically gains performance. The GPU however, it's a known issue and they have been fixing it. If none of the above, the first comment suggestions should help

I appreciate the updates, could watch you all day but I just can’t get behind charging your beta testers for stuff that surely, surely will be base content on full release. Unless of course they’re going to launch a game around lemans 2025 time that doesn’t have gt3 without dlc.

So LeMans Ultimate was actually "LeMans Meh" which will require further purchases to become ultimate. MSG is alive and well and still screwing the racing public.

The Maserati brothers worked at IF, as well as Diatto, before starting their own company. I kind of figured you might do this 2nd part at Imola, seeing as you hadn't covered it yet. The Variente Alta is just too tight. I definitely don't care for that particular chicane. That's certainly brave making a move like that into Piratella. That was fun to watch.

Love the game, I don't like this dlc. COTA is full of weird turns, and all that colors around the track are distracting. The Alpine has such a narrow point of view that I simply can't enjoy to drive. The isota is another hypercar weird to drive. I will stuck with the Ferrari or Porsche. Rest of updates is only part of the road to become a full game and not a forever early access. I paid for the season pass, so is ok but this dlc is not for me.
