Not really,they all get it mixed up Marines are same as rgf,just marines and are working close to navy and are better trained(so they have mbts just like rgf) On other hand every russian vdv division in itself is consistent of 2 regiments and separately arty battalion,logistic battalion,medical battalion,communication battalion,spetsnaz company and separate tank battalion(those vdv tank battalions are usually consistent of up to 14 mbts

​@@dashikashi4734If they did release the DPR/LPR then yes that should be given. The Russian military is using T-72B3's as well as other MBT's though the main in use MBT is the B3

@@zeffy._440 The DNR and LPR do not exist anymore. They were absorbed into the Russian Armed Forces last year. Regular Russian forces are increasingly using T64m with rounds from the 70s. This has been thoroughly visually confirmed.

Yeah it is weird, cause the BMD-4 has both an autocannon and a main gun so it's not like the BMD-1 is fulfilling a totally unique role. The BMD-2 could have a Fagot ATGM on top too

BMD-2 isnt used that often anymore its more or less reserve, BMD-3 would have been the better choice, they totally forgot about the GAZ Tigr, i also really miss AK74M & VSS Vintorez. More or less VMF (russian navy) would have been the better choice they also have BTR-80/90 and more importantly with those new ocean maps they couldve added chinese and russian coastal patrol boats.

@@STRYKER1467 BMD-3 is very rare to see. If you see Ukraine war footage and you see BMD-4s or BMD-2s BMD-3s are just a early version of a BMD-4

@@MidwestSurvivalCompany The maps in Squad are too small for cargo drops. It's like a big neon light telling the enemy where you are, and would have people racing to each other constantly to intercept them. I don't really see the point as we currently have various wheeled/tracked/rotor logi vehicles that are fine for getting supplies, most APCs/IFVs carry enough ammunition as well for a quick resupply if necessary. Then the AC130, which is designed for ground attack and has operated only in low-threat environments where air superiority has been established or the airspace is uncontested. Two major conventional factions like the Americans vs the Russians battling it out would definitely not see AC130s being used, Russian air defence would shoot that thing down immediately. I know any form of air defence is not in Squad, but I assume we operate under the idea that outside of the map there are larger battles bein fought. It'd make no sense for an AC130 to be active there.

​@@PantherBlackRu Fast roping was feature shown on one of their older road maps, it just hasn't come yet. OWI had a bunch of employee issues and weren't able to bring a lot of things shown on that roadmap.

@@Dmitri_Donskoy Is it already standard issue? I thought it was still being rolled out or was going to be rolled out in a few years time. Edit: Just searched it up and I was wrong. Turns out it has been in service since 2019 and at the time was apparently rolled out as scheduled.

@@ldklldkl1713 VDV shouldn't get AK-12s, especially given that we've seen few of the VDV in Ukraine equipped with them. The AS-VAL is also a disappointing inclusion. Not happy about the direction Squad is heading in.

The Infantry overhaul is significantly better, gunfights are more intense and last longer. It just needs some slight fixes though

@@georgyzhukov6409 Gun's now handle as if they're in an XYZ axis, so moving, trying to aim after sprinting, and firing while suppressed will have a significant affect on your accuracy, guns also point shoot now so bullets will fire wherever the barrel is pointing. Recoil is more noticeable too so firing single shot or in bursts is your best choice. Suppression is significantly more affective and now a viable tactic in combat now. And gameplay speed is much slower, you can't ninja jump across buildings anymore or vault over large walls. I tried this all out in the playtest and it almost feels like a new game when in combat.

Would be fun, China starts in the sea from landing ships where the amphibious vehicles/landing craft have to find their way to the land whilst Taiwan/US forces have to defend

Knowing games like this they'll add a squad map but just use the US instead of Taiwan

Yes, it was meant for aird drops since you couldnt exactly do the same with shilka and although it will not be added to the game, the vehicle was loaded with igla manpads

looks like same as russian ground forces, some changes to the character models but very minor differences

Every time we've seen the AK-12 in combat with Russian troops it's always been the 2016 version, the 2020 and 2023 version are most likely never going to see wide-spread use amongst the RAF regulars and will be exclusively SOF guns.

​@@fao2986 i've seen a few 2020 version in Ukraine, but yes the 2016 version was way more common, while the 2023 one is still not in serial production (or i don't know about it), i just would have liked to see the last design of this weapon, that would be the only one to be build from now on being used. And following this fact, since the russian army is still severely lacking of ak12, and so still using ak74 most of the time, if one day enought ak12 were built the 2023 version (or a later version) would represent the majority of them

@@fao2986 and btw, it seems that the ak12 in game have only 2 fire modes, semi and auto, only the 2023 version has those two fire modes. The 2016 and 2020 versions had a burst fire mode. (may be changed when the update will arrive, i don't know)

In my experience with the t-62 that just results in a lat and hat surfing on the armored vehicle deleting everything that comes up.

@@Nathan-Romantbf the USMC and US army have very similar gear. The Chinese just have more standardized and congruent gear. It would be cool if more was added to differentiate them though. I honestly think more factions is just better overall, even if the differences are negligible. It allows for more toys to play with without making any one faction too powerful or versatile.

@@reentrysfs6317 Yes the 2S25M does with it's new CITV. Something this thing doesn't have. I can't comment about those because I'm not 100% familiar with them but I'm pretty sure the 12.7 on the B3 can be aimed and fired from inside the tank irl

@@TheYamato101 the b3 model in the game the (2014) does not posses the ability to have a remote commanders mg. I think the newer b3 models t-90 and t-64 have a remote 12.7mg
