Oh no no, this is just bad design. Let’s call it what it is. Nitecore can’t keep hiding under “ a light for everyone” when something like this can be fixed with minor UI tweeks.Lo-Hi and Hi-Lo modes could have solved this completely. Giving everyone a preference of what they want a two mode light to be. I know this is a Nitecore subsidized channels, but a little more honesty and constructive criticism would be nice.

Also please don’t suggest a 1.57” by 6.42” light for a “better” UI, when we’re looking at a small 18350 light, 1” by 3.5”. That’s just disingenuous.

@@jonathancaldentey4615 this is not a Nitecore subsidised channel, and it is what it is, you're trying to use a screw driver to hammer in a nail and saying the screw driver has bad design

It’s in your name, not hating on it, actually really like the channel, but let’s call it how it is. And ey, I guess we’re just going to disagree I guess. But comparing memory mode in a two mode light to nailing a nail with a screwdriver its just a bad example, like really bad. If I was asking for 4000 lumens in a small light, that would be great example. If I was asking for crazy runtimes out of this light, you would absolutely right. Right tool for the right job. But a bad UI, for the sake of a bad UI. Yeah that’s an issue. It’s like putting a really shitty pocket clip on a light and saying too bad, this light isn’t for you. You want good carry, got get a giant light that fits in a holster… But as they say “'Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence”. I’ll probably still buy it, and I only criticize because I care about the products and enjoy the brand.
