Righttt?!! No moments of her as the frog. The crocodile has his 🎺 maybe once, which in movie, he has it at all times and is playing. No voodoo moments. No restaurant moments. They didn't even put her in her princess gown. With all the advancements of today, they did the bare minimum.

How do you know they left that out? All you saw was a 30 second video of the finale scene. THe voodoo scenes would make more sense during the ride up the hill just before the final plunge. Think about it.

@@MrRobarino For myself, I've watched more than just this 30 second clip from the beginning of the ride and it does not have any voodoo scenes.

@@queenkukizI would leave out the frog stuff (the most boring parts of the movie) and instead of retelling the movie’s story, make the ride a short story where the Shadow Man is back as a spirit and terrorizes the bayou. The final drop being where Tiana defeats him somehow. Tiana and Facilier are the best characters from the movie but they barely meet in the film itself, so using them for the ride would be a great opportunity. But they completely wasted it on… this.

It had decent humour with Brer Fox and Brer Bear, charming characters, an easy to follow story, and rising tension leading to the big drop with the thorns at the bottom. There’s a reason it was so popular for so long, and if it wasn’t for a vocal minority who were bored during covid and needed something to cancel, we wouldn’t be here. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure may have the same layout as Splash Mountain, but most of it is barren. The animatronics are fantastic but there are too few. There’s barely a story, no villain to lead the plot, and no rising tension towards the drop. Cherry on top is they removed the thorns, too. I like the ending scene and song, but Tiana’s is a poor man’s Splash Mountain in every way but layout.

The ride takes place after the movie. Ray is dead.

Who needs to ride in person when they can see the long stretches of darkness and screens on camera?? I’ve been going to Disney and Universal with my family now for 20 years and in my experience, cameras are usually able to show quite a lot of what is and isn’t physically there.

I totally get that. It's so hard to avoid ride spoilers, especially with Disney showing so much of the ride weeks before it's open. I was honestly surprised that the finale is one of the first things Disney shared of on-ride footage.

I’m just sitting here now, thinking about how often I’ve been called a “Disney simp”… but I have actually not had a whole lot of good to say about Disney’s actions in the last decade. I think there is a difference between people who love what Disney was and people who continue to stick like glue to it now. Change for the sake of change and pandering to political interests/agendas… this isn’t the Disney I grew up loving at all. I’m still trying to remain hopeful that maybe this will teach them to change but just in case… I think I ought to make a trip to WDW to say goodbye to the Progress family, the galaxy’s most talented singer (and his Space Angels) and the world’s cutest little dragon, just in case. 😔

Both of them are two separate different songs and we haven’t even heard the full version of special spice at this point y’all are just getting mad about anything regarding this ride 😅

It's on youtube and its great, it's of course going to try and capture that finale feeling, it's part of the finale, but it's very faithful to the movie too. It compliments the rest of the music which is already awesome.

I loved Splash but I have to disagree. It’s still in Tokyo, and this ride looks nice imo. Imagineers did an amazing job with animatronics and scenery

Where is the full POV? I can't find it on your channel. Splash was a ride based on a rately seen movie named after a probably even less seen 80s movie, it was ok, but when it comes down to it... its a log flume lol. Also im waiting for your analysis of the cost for each of these animatronics and effects, surely is its cheap you can build a better ride?
