Hi, unfortunately the original CD/DVD player could not be retained. However there is an external CD player available that connects via the units USB port that does work if you want to play cd's. The part number of this item is the ADVUSBCD.

@@keepwalkn the rear screens are not useless, we have connected a Google Chromecast to the HDMI input on our vehicle and are streaming footage from our mobile devices or watching RU-vid etc. You can also connect a 12v portable DVD player to the HDMI port if you insist on watching things from discs. Plenty of options, but retaining the original DVD player of the vehicle was not possible.

​@aerpro so does that also mean the ordinal dials in front of the shifter that were for the volume and scroll are no longer functional as well?

@@christopherinch90 that is correct, the 2x silver dials in front of the gear lever are no longer functional and not needed.
