Colour Pop has always been so stunning. I actually have their Christopher Robin (Winnie the Pooh) Collection and the liquid lip even smells like honey. The Lip Oil also smells like honey. So I'm surprised these Harry Potter ones don't have a fragrance but they are still so beautiful.
A lot of brands are taking fragrance off of their products because of the high rate of allergic people that cannot wear fragrance makeup. I know it could be a shame, but it’s actually really good that a lot of people can now enjoy these products🎉.
27:48 Orange is a colour that suits people with a warm skin undertone very well (spring type & autumn type), while the "Harry Potter" red is more for people with a cool skin undertone (summer and winter type). So yeah - as a deep autumn I would give the orange one a chance.
I have blue eyes and I use Pumpkin Juice and Butterbeer together in the fall and it’s the perfect combination for a pumpkin spice look. I live in Salem btw so any excuse to be witchy and I’ll take it! I went to a Harry Potter brunch the other day and I’m a Slytherin so I used the Slytherin shade for my look and I ordered a Gigglewater and it was so magical 🧙
I bought the whole set of lip balms when this collection came out! Love all of the scents! There used to be a list of the scents on the product page. If the products are still available, it should still be there. I remember Ravenclaw having notes of blackberry, Slytherin was largely minty, Gryffindor was rum & cinnamon, and Hufflepuff had marshmallow & vanilla. There were other notes too, but those are the few I remember. Was always tempted by the Luna gloss, too! 💕
ColourPop has some really nice makeup and it's affordable. They have good sales all the time too. You should see if your manager can get you on their PR list since you have so many viewers from the US. They come out with fun themes all the time. I've bought their mystery boxes a few times as a gift to my son's gf and it's packed with products well worth what they charge for them. She gets so excited when I get her those.
So I purchased this collection as well and since I'm in the US I've been using it for months. The balms are all different scents! They list the scents on the website only and Gryffindor I remember is butterbeer while Slytherin is mint. I only have those 2 and they are my FAVORITE balms. Also the Ron lip color is very wearable in the fall, trust me! I have the same skin and hair tones as you and I love it. All 3 lip colors are great but the red can be messy so I recommend a lip liner. The liners are quite nice but take a while to dry down so be careful. The eyeshadow palette is stunning- you're right, the mattes blend amazingly with a brush and the metallics and the special glitter one are best applied with your finger as toppers. The highlighters are all wearable and build-able, I use buckbeak every day almost. Honestly money well spent, I have a ton of makeup but use this collection all the time! I've been waiting for your review actually, haha. My one critique is I wish the beautiful packaging was actually on the products. I ended up saving the packages in a little box on my vanity because I couldn't bring myself to throw them away but needed the makeup easily accessible.
I got this pallet when it came out. It’s one of my favorites. I’m a Ravenclaw and I love the Ravenclaw color! Lovely review of this collection. I wish those across the pond had easier access to Colourpop.
Eagles actually make sense too, since the colour of their claws is a very dark grey/black (raven talons/raven claws), eagles also represent wisdom and intelligence (core traits for a ravenclaw), so yes, the name could suggest a raven as well but after all it's just rowenas last name and the animal always represents the traits and not the name of the founder, otherwise Gryffindors mascot would be a Griffin :)

I have only used my house Gryffindor its so good. The lip balm is Red - butterbeer, a eggnog with hints of island rum, sweet ginger, clove, cinnamon and vanilla. Green - peppermint - notes of wild peppermint, spearmint and clove. Blue - Sugar quills - blackberries, basil and vanilla bean. Yellow - popping pixie dust - marshmallows, vanilla bean, coconut and berries. Now I did get them when they were on sale so they didn't cost me as much, wish i could afford the whole collection.
My Wizard box for June, arrived today! I was impressed and immediately found my favorites. The first one is the pocket watch. Detail is outstanding. My second favorite is the Dragon's blood. Fits will with my apothecary theme. I definitely would purchase another Wizard box in the future. Cherry, your impressive vlogs have also influenced me to become a plant mommy!

Nice collection of makeup. I agree, the color palette is very exciting. I am a lipbalm connoisseur. I have 12 different ones in my purse, 4 by my chair in my living room, and I haven't counted how many next to my bed in my bedside table/ dresser. That does not take into account the ones in my bathroom and elsewhere. For Christmas every year, my family know they will be getting novelty lipbalms in their stockings as well. I love lipbalms. Did you get that? You have done a great job presenting them and showing their beauty. You really should create some makeup looks using some of the colors that go together along writhe eyeliners and lipsticks. It's awesome that you review these for us. Just lovely. Thanks, Cherry! I have this collection on its way to me right now and this is making me even more excited for it to arrive! 😍 I've been obsessed with Colourpop for years now, but this is the collection that has me the most thrilled (partially because the colors look AMAZING, but also obviously since Harry Potter is my top tier love of my life lol). Ps: I laughed way too hard at you saying the color was "definitely down my Diagon Alley" 😂
Be careful where you store these, and go lightly with your brush. Colourpop powders tend to be a bit softer and easier to crumble. Also, Invisibility Cloak is a Super Shock shadow. Use your finger for that, the brush won’t pick it up very well. And spritz lightly with water or setting spray before tapping on your eye lid.
Thank you for testing the eyeshadow palette! My chaos gremlin self was extremely curious to see what they looked like since I don’t wear any makeup myself or even know how to use makeup honestly. (The shinies are so shiny! I love all of them!) If I had to pick something out there, I might do the lip balms or the liners. This whole set looks amazing for cosplay purposes and I would definitely get one if I was a more active cosplayer than I am now (stupid arthritis 😒). I am very preferential towards the blues and reds since those are some of my favorite colors, I’m not a big yellow person and there are only certain shades of green that I like. My sister is a big makeup person so I think she would like this more than I would and probably get more use out than just cosplaying makeup. These longer videos are really good for my attention span and when it’s someone I like watching, it’s even better! I’ll have to have a think whether or not this set would be a good spend or not (Have to watch that budget of course you know).
Excellent review. A lot of those eyeshadows looked good for fall, as did the orange lipstick, and the red eyeliner. My favorites, though, were the blue eyeliner, blue eyeshadows, and I did like the rose gold highlighter. I would definitely use the lip balms, too. My lips are always chapped.

I am so glad you finally got the collection! I've been obsessed with this collection ever since it came out! the Buckbeak highlight though i wear almost on the daily its a rly good everyday neutral highlight.

THIS is going to have me broke 😅 Colour Pop is very reasonably priced though. They famously own their own labs and factories and stuff. It enables them to do way more collections and collabs because they can put out a line cheaper and quicker. I'm pretty sure I learned that from Jeffree or Manny...probably both lol
Yeah, I don't think $170 is a high price for all of those products . The usual quality of their make up makes it a good value IMO. Of course, all of the shipping she paid is very high .

❤ I LOVE Colourpop! They have the BEST eye shadow pallets for mid point price range. They are affordable and work so good. I've never tried any of their lip products but their eyes and face products are by far my favorite. Out of this collection the eye shadows have it again for me. I wouldn't wear that Ron lip i have cool toned skin and that would not look good on me. Someone with darker melanin wouls totally rock that Ron color lip though.

Hey Cherry🙋🏼♂️ I know that you have gone off doing makeup on your channel but since it was quite a hassle to get the makeup und also quite expensive maybe you could consider doing another video with it. You seem to like it and in my opinion you are really good at doing your makeup. Maybe a video with 2 or 3 different look's/eye look's. Maybe everyday look's or you could also make them themed. Like Umbridge, Mrs. Weasley, Luna, Bellatrix or Fleur. Not to look like them...just like inspiration. Or maybe bigger themes like night in the forbidden forest or halloween at hogwarts 🤷🏼♂️ You are really creative and i would love to see what you would do💐
i love the invincibility cloak and the forbidden forest one. the forbidden forest one looks like a color of one a Fwooper and or Diricawl. Invincibility cloak one is a gold unicorn 😅 if you ride one it’ll be the pigment you’ll get on your invincibility cloak lol
The packaging is so gorgeous! So much attention to details! Great review as well 💜 I was so hopeful that the liners would be brush tip or at least felt tip. I would have gotten the Slytherin and Ravenclaw ones in a heartbeat :( I can't use these ones, always poke my eyes with them :d

Love love love colourpop! I already got the house lip balms. Got them all and love each one! They all smell different, the hufflepuff one smells like pinapples or something reminds me of summer! I am a Gryffindor but I use them all because I love them all!
I got the eyeshadow palette for myself and then my friend got me the Hufflepuff bundle and the Dobby highlighter for my birthday 🥺💖 such a fun collection!
I want the whole collection just for the packaging. But in the end I settled for the pieces I truly wanted and would wear. I loved everything I got. I plan to get the stuff I missed put on assuming it hasn't sold out yet
