First Look INSIDE Icon of the Seas: Sneak Peek! 

I just can't figure out this ship - it's SO impressively enormous! I cruised on Symphony for the first time in 2023, and she absolutely blew my mind - I don't think I'd know what to do on this ship, ha! Thanks so much for getting this released so quickly - I was hoping you'd be on there!

My daughter is on this ship now with her company and she says it is absolutely amazing.

Pricing is out of control. Been loyal to Royal for 21 years. Loved sailing Wonder during her inaugural season 3.5-5k for 2 on a 7 night ocean view balcony. This big of a price hike compared was unexpected and unwarrented imo. Will be holding off on booking. They want double that now! Btw thanks for all the content Matt!!

Amazing! FYI, another big job of the pearl is structural. Since they put in those huge windows to let light in and open up the promenade the pearl is essentially holding up the deck above.

Looks amazing. I love the light colors. The brightness of the ship that would work well for me being low vision, the days of the dark tones and less lighting should be out. I was worried about crowding... but after this, I see that they truly have a space or neighborhood for everyone... As long as the flow from area to area is good, I don't think that this ship will ever feel crowded, at all. Well done Royal. I'll definitely be sailing on ICON in a few years after the pricing goes down & all the kinks are worked out, lol😂

I LOVE Color and this ship is my dream in every way, so cool, bright and Amazing! They did an unimaginable job in the design...the neighborhoods, themes, and pools...not to mention those water parks! Thank you for the tour, it was excellent and so informative...can't wait for more!

I've sailed on both Liberty and Anthem several times, and while this looks incredible, it looks like walking through a suburban mall. I would gladly trade one-of-a-kind amenities for a smaller ship. I can't imagine what the lines will be at every venue. Maybe I'll try Icon in a few years when the hype has subsided.

I never thought this would dwarf the Oasis class, but in just about every way possible, it does! It's very hard to believe this is all on a moving vessel!

Love all the bright colors. I like they added escalators & designated elevators thats pretty awesome. I don't think i will have time to get off at port to many things to see on this ship....Can't wait til MAY

I love the Surfside / Splashaway Bay areas and think it’s perfect for young families. I don’t have any little ones, but can imagine the fun kids will have here. Nice to have something for the parents here, as well.

What I love about this ship, is how the color scheme reminds me of the 80's but re-imagined.

Thank you for sharing this! It’s really nice to finally see some ppl in the being positive about this ship and not complaining about the price. We have choices in the cruises/ships we take and this just happens to be a new ship with a lot to offer plus take you to multiple islands. I’m happy for the RC crew. They worked INCREDIBLY HARD on this project I’m sure. I have such a different perspective on these types of projects because my husband is a structural engineer. I am so excited to sail in August!

We booked 7 nights on this ship in the fall for $2500 for 2 people in an interior stateroom. From what others are saying it sounds like we got a deal. Cannot wait!

ICON is stunning, and they should offer 10-night cruises that go no-where (maybe stop once in Cozumel and CocoCay). I’d spend the entire time with a checklist in-hand eating my way from venue to venue and would never be happier.

Thanks, Matt! Excellent overview. I'm feeling more comfortable about navigating this ship now that I've seen all the neighborhoods. My cabin is on Deck 4, and I think those escalators are going to be handy! And all the new complimentary food venues will give so much choice.

Seeing Icon come into the Miami harbor really put its size into perspective. It reminds me of my Navy days when I first saw an Aircraft Carrier. Very large and mind boggling. I thought the Empire Supper Club was located in Central Park

Every indoor section looks like a mall, I can't believe how much it reminds me of American dream mall, and it's all just floating!

I love those elevators. Not sure what the real name is, but I've started calling them smart elevators. I'm sure there's some clever programming behind them because wait times are significantly lower with these types of elevators. I first came across them on a Carnival ship. They really clean up the issues standard elevators have on cruise ships which have many floors and high traffic.

Thanks for the ship tour. I can definitely tell Royal design this ship specifically for young families. And it's clear that is definitely their target.

Icon really looks great. My friend is working at Meyer Turku. On November 19th workers of Meyer got to go on tour to see Icon from inside and take few friends with them. I went to that tour. Even back then Icon looked great from inside. One day I will go cruise on Icon. Have a great year.

Thank you for getting this video put together and out so quickly. I have the Star booked, but am anxious to hear reviews once people begin sailing Icon. Personally, I think the décor and look found on the Symphony looks better than what I am seeing in this video. The Icon just feels / looks bare as compared to the Oasis class. Central park looks like it has less plants and the Promenade looks like it will be too loud to enjoy with the open concept. The surf Side does look better than the Boardwalk though, and I think the aqua dome is what sells this boat. Lets hope RCL wakes up with some of these add on prices for activities... no other cruise line charges for ropes course, etc. RCL needs to be reeled back down to Earth... hopefully before the Star hits the water in 2025. Please people, refuse to pay $1/second for some of those activities that are free on competitor ships. We can force RCL to be fair, but it starts with our wallets.

Wow! What a ship. Those waterslides look like so much fun. And I love the destination elevators! So efficient.

Finally, a picture of the thermal suite! Bless you Royal Caribbean Blog. I feel like you just spotted the loch ness monster or something... I was beginning to question if the spa even existed, as they have never mentioned it once lol. Glad to see they have a full dozen loungers.

Wow, there’s just so much to see and do! When we sail in March, i dont even know! Maybe go see the Pearl first, then slowly make our way up to Windjammer and maybe the water park before it gets too crowded. Or maybe we just explore till our feet fall off on that first day! I feel like this is the first time we've actually seen the Windjammer. All of the content up to this point has specifically avoided the windjammer, like Royal wasn't ready to show it off yet.

It has a very 90s feeling to it I love it.

The Suite Deck can also be used by the new SKY Junior Suites debuting on the Icon, so no longer starting with the Grand Suites. Normal Junior Suites cannot use the Suite Deck.

I love the new look and especially central park it looks so bright. I'm just worried the lack of shade not everyone wants to sit in the sun on any of the pools. The amount of food options include great. And they should've left out the pearl so have more ocean view. I wish cost wasn't so much feel like a lot people including myself are priced out right now.

Bigger is not always better! We were on royals largest ship in the world (until another one took over as the largest ship in the world) and I can say my favorite is still freedom of the seas hands down!

This ship looks absolutely spectacular and absurdly humongous. I mean they took the perfect day at coco cay formula and put it on a ship. Being on 7 cruises all royal Caribbean. All pre COVID. This looks completely built for a new cruise generation. May not be for me.

Nice quick video Matt! We will see you on the maiden voyage. Sky Jr. Suites get the Suite deck and all amenities like Coastal Kitchen as well! We have one booke in April.

Beautiful looking ship just out of the average family or SS living person price range. Just not for me at this time. One cruise price on this ship is 5 cruises on another line.

Wow just plain WoW!

I really don't like central park compared to prior versions. Its looks very fake and plastic compared to the oasis ships. The decals, plant wall, and the shutters are too cartoon-y and there's far less plants.

Finally escalators! They need to start doing more escalators on these mega ships…Central Park was my favorite area on the oasis ships, now the colors of the shutters are tooo loud… don’t like that it looks like more windows instead of balconies.. surf side looks like it will be a very loud area… I’ll be staying away from that whole section whenever I get on, years from now 🤣

Champagne bar in the park and my Cabin - Central Park Infinite Balcony. Those family rooms look cool too with the infinite part for kids and a deck. Haven't been on Oasis class so this is exciting.

This ship looks so amazing. It will be years before I get on this but that is ok. I have so many ships to discover.
