J I have a theory. I posted the long version of it on Jason G Kicks vid on these so I'll TRY to provide an abridged version here lol. I think limiting the size on WMNS exclusives comes down to a cost cutting measure. The higher the quality of the material of the shoes the more it'll cost JB to produce it. So if they want to go with high quality materials on a release but want to also keep production costs low, then making a release a women's exclusive gives them a built in excuse to eliminating szs larger than a men's 10.5. This also allows JB to still hit what I guess must be some of the larger parts of their demo. If the stock numbers yall post with releases are accurate, the bulk of adult szs seem to fall between men's sz 8-11. So they'll still be able to meet alot of demand but probably not have to spend as much as a full men's sz release would require. Nike knows that these WMNS excl releases have some traction among their larger foot (typically seen in male customers) as the larger szs, even when they do extended szing are the first to sell out. Meanwhile smaller szs, more commonly worn by women demos remain sitting. End of the day, Nike as a Corp. cares about profitability and any steps they can take to increase margins while also maintaining the prestige of the brand is something they are likely to do. OK I'm done now and yeah although this is still an essay it's way shorter than my other post lol
