Remember the first time 720 was released.. it looks abit weird at first and took some time for me to love the design. And now the extra bits here and there on the LT, it looks totally sick! Side note, where's the cold start!

The rejuvenation of McLaren really is so heartwarming. For years they were under the shadow of brands like ferrari and Lamborghini, now they have come back with a bang and ferrari is having sleepless nights on each new McLaren product launch.

Man, Ferrari are in so much trouble. The Pista already couldn't keep up with the 'standard' 720S, and now we have the actual true competitor to it, the 765LT. I cannot wait for this car to break a stack of records, and just generally be the quickest full series production car people can actually buy.

Finally, the 720s LT is here in the form of the 765. Looks menacing, not as elegant but like the incorporation of the Elva aero on the rear and the slight McLaren GT rear wing indent styling among others parts. Would be interesting to see this perform against a Senna.

I'll reserve my judgement of the styling until I see one in another colour 🤔

The 765lt doesn't have all panels made of carbon. You can get the rear quarters (pretty sure this is what the option refers to), the hood and the wing in full carbon and the trim. That's it.

720s is almost fast as the P1, we will see if this one can keep up with the SENNA.

Only thing I don’t like is the ‘ bug like ‘ front light fittings.. could of been made a lot sleeker perhaps? Apart from that it’s stunning

Depends what it sounds and feels like in the cabin. Also great for going quick on track but no one can buy it for track due to mclaren reliability or go on long road trips.

It's a sexy looking car for sure, but I've heard a fair bit about the "new McLaren ownership experience" so I have a few questions: - will it break constantly? - will bits fall off it? - when either of those things inevitably happen, will it take 2 months to fix? - will the paint be "mostly okay" or absolutely perfect? - will the panel gaps be consistent between different cars made in different production runs like, say, a Toyota or a Nissan? - will the air-conditioning actually work effectively in warm weather? - will the brakes squeal horrendously at low speeds? - will the steering pull to the left or right because the alignment wasn't done properly at the factory? - will the electric latch/release for the luggage area actually work when I need it to? - will I be able to fit more than just a massive ego in that luggage area? - will the dealer treat me like a wallet with legs, or an actual customer? - will I be able to successfully convince myself that it was a better purchase than a new GT3 or literally anything else in the same performance class? - will I still be able to convince myself it was a good purchase when I see McLaren dealers offering massive discounts on their over-supplied and undersold stock, only one year after I bought it?

It took McLaren extremely long to finally release an LT version of their Super Series (720S) car that even the Sports Series has LT Spider and LT Coupe Variants of its own. Yet, despite taking so long, the body looks like a Vorsteiner/Novitec N-Largo kit with the front fender vents, wider front lip/splitter, side skirts, etc. I think they've reached their maximum in terms of design and decided to focus more on the engineering side by taking stuff off the hyper series. Question left is, how much better is it in real life on the road and track compared to a 720S?

It looks very clean, sharky and really fast. The design of their machines become more and more wellrounded.

another thing I noticed my 720's when it reaches very high speeds it bounces on the roads where I live I live in the Northeast.My Lamborghini performante feels way more planted even though it is slower in a straight line.I actually prefer I have your car so it doesn't bounce so much it is quite terrifying at high speeds already in a 720's. I can't imagine how much this car will be bouncing all over probably very much like a turbo S

This is going to be a distorted of worlds in terms of performance. Depending on what circuit, I have a feeling this car may actually beat the Senna around a track. The Senna is on such a knife edge that times can be so variant depending on conditions. The 720s has been fast literally everywhere. Add the extra aero, power, tires... going to be insane

McLaren have just made a consistent high 9 sec car. Thing is probably going to dyno 765 at the wheels.

Anyone else disappointed that it looks like a 720s with a reworked body kit from Novitec? I was hoping for more, in the way that the 675 looks soooo much better than a 650s. It's a good looking car, I was just wanting more.

McLaren likes to downplay the real hp figures of some of their cars and it has been claimed that the stock 720S alone has produced 800+ bhp in some dyno tests, If there's anything true about that I can only imagine what this bad boy will be capable of.

This is one of the most beautiful cars made by Mclaren. And it is a 1000 times better than their other modern LongTail, the 675LT.
