The last time I saw this van design is in Thailand very popular there and then they suit them up something fierce they use them for drag racing you should check it out
Cuz minivans and full-size 3-row full-size suvs are more popular here, given the size of the roads. We also already have the Ford Transit, Sprinters, Chevy + GMC cargo, Nissan NV. The lexus LM version would be nice, but I doub't we will get that either given no one will buy them when the full size suvs are more popular. The Chicken Tax would also likely apply (25% tariff on light trucks imported to the U.S). So poor anticipated sales + Chicken Tax + safety regulations + Emissions regulations + Toyota's reluctance to make it meet safety and emissions due to low anticipated sales.
Same reason lies for why the Hilux isn't sold here. The tacoma exists, which is also larger and more luxurious. The Hilux is more a rugged work truck with a diesel, and Toyota is reluctant to spend the massive amounts of R&D to customize it to meet standards when they already have a somewhat equivalent vehicle in their lineup selling in markets the Hilux isn't available. The us already has Tacoma, Tundra, and Seqoia.
The front grills on these r absolutely awful, way out of proportion to wat the vehicle is, this van could look so much better if they redid the front end.
