Steed I don't know if you noticed but at 1:36 when Scouter Vegeta grabbed DBS 17 he did the trip grab. Like the grab you can do to peopel when they're on the ground in BT3. It's nice to see that not only that grab is still in the game line but also it comes with extra hits in it too rather than JUST the grab. That's sick!
Am I missing something here? It like he did the normal trip move and then just followed it up with a grab? 17 wasn’t on the ground yet and was stunned by the leg swipe so the grab was able to connect. I thought this was how it works for any character. They can stun and then grab the stunned target.
@TheSCPStudio That is exactly what happened, but it was not the standard grab but a trip grab. They do HAVE to be "on the ground" for the grab to connect, but they do have to be in a tripped state. The grab in BT3 always flung you upward diagonally, but in SZ it looks not just a throw but also has a bit of a combo to it depending on the character.
The moment I saw the power ball in the thumbnail I just knew we were finally getting the monkey man transformation! Can’t wait for custom battles where they make him say “this guy is eating beans!” 😂😂
The game is alot different in this build. The characters are more like magnets now like tenakichi and raging blast and less loose like xenoverse. Im glad they fixed that because it makes the fighting look more anappy and fast. I was deeing alot of people from japan complain about that so they went ahead and kept working on it as you can see
Its not oversight, it’s supposed to mimic the Saiyan Saga wear and tear, tail included. The issue is probably being able to become Oozaru, which was present in bt3 too
8:50 when you said “kaioken?” That was him gathering energy. The stage just made it look like it was kaioken. So we now know the ki around Goku can change colors by the background
It seems like whenever you lose a bar of health you gain a blast stock. But this wasn't happening with all the characters. Seemed like it was the case for android 17 and scouter Vegeta, but not for SSJ goku. Maybe it's a character property

I wonder When they release metal cooler are they gonna do what they did last time and give him almost every op ability but no ki charge at all (android and slowest, unless 20 only getting 2 ki bars is counted) or is metal cooler going to be actually balanced Either way if its a 3 tram im getting metal cooler, tien and great ape somebofy and if a 5v5 im adding namek frieza and the random button to my team
i still think outfits take damage wayyy to quickly, like every fight might end with goku in fully damaged gear or whoever, also that skill list is obnoxious popping up everytime
@Zayyy1-p9w so you’re telling me you have no problem with remembering the many different combos of each different character but you’ll need on screen prompts to tell you whether to you need to press R2 and triangle or circle for a social move? See how your argument becomes abit stupid

Not this gameplay formula, back to the redundant same combos, only 2 or 1 button for melee sucks and too repetitive. No wonder they have so many characters in this game they all fight similar.
You sound like someone who's too young to have played any of the previous BT games. They were fine. This game will be fine. If you had played them back in the day you'd see how this game is on track to being a god tier DBZ game
There’s literally like 50 different combos per character excluding the super moves in bt3 alone. This game has wayyy more as shown in screenshots. Idk what youre smoking on
Ummm Turns implies there isnt dodges and counters its not like finishing a combo is gonns stunlock you so long the enemy gets to attsck you or something? You like played any bt or XV game? Or like even jump force?
@@molassesman4066 ive played the tenkaichi series even the terrible UT an it literally plays just like that for the sake of cool an more updated cinematics an explosions there is no dodging once an attack animation starts up you can’t get out of it or do your own attack until AFTER the entire move is done an that’s dumb jump force did the same thing but it was much quicker animations so you couldn’t really complain about it

wow we finally get galick cannon back after all these years but a much better version i hope they include genocide breaker final burst cannon moves tht will complete his moveset
