They have an album in all English that is closer to R&B and I don’t skip a single song when it’s on. Even as a die hard czennie, Monsta X rap line is my favorite. Both rappers have self produced their own album/mixtape that is fire.

Monsta X is really that group. They are versatile, talented, visually very VERY pleasing and most importantly are absolute sweet hearts. When I first got into Monsta X, I was going through a very difficult time. I remember smiling for the first time in months after watching a video of Honey. Ever since, they helped me overcome so many hardships with their music and their content. I genuinely think that Monsta X are special. Even if you do not react to any of their works on the channel, i really wish you would check them out in your own time and get to know them better. They are so wonderful, so down to earth, so lovable. The best thing that ever happened to me was knowing Monsta X and becoming a monbebe
fun fact about monsta x: they used to get a lot of hate for their loud and aggressive music and concepts, but they pushed through and kept making music in their style and ended inspiring a lot of other boy group concepts today. I personally don't think the boy group industry would have some of the sounds that it does today without mx. and they really do have some of the best bsides in the industry so I really hope you continue liking them!! This makes me so incredibly happy that you've finally checked Monsta X out! They're my second favourite group after BTS, and I can't stress enough how underrated Monsta X are. They're sooo damn talented, and honestly they stand out from the majority of K-pop artists, like their sound is just so unique to me. Wonho is in fact horrifically terrified of heights and this was a real struggle for him, he has also had to face another very high task for his commitment to Mx. He has been DJ H.ONE since 2017 and has also composed on Mx albums, we await He has walked on high fashion catwalks, he has a new web drama starting soon (he got really buff and ballet training), also member of conservative brothers with kihyun but again he got body under there you get flashes of. Jooheon- bumblebee 🐝 he’s the softest squishy boy ever. He’s one of the double rapper line and heavy on composing, lyrics, producing the groups material along with IM. So soft I can’t stress it enough. Has been credited as among the top 10-20 copyright composers in kpop. Crazy charismatic on stage and in performances, funny and loved by all members. Usually found in a hug, being hugged or looking for a hug. Lol Chankyun or IM - wolf 🐺, but many monbebe argue actually he’s more like a cat 🐈⬛. He is a rapper, composer, producer, dancer. He was the last member of the group who joined them on the show No Mercy that made them and if you want your feels ripped out your chest stuffed in a blender raw and handed back to you watch the show, it’s brutal and harsh. But come through it they did and he’s the Maknae they all adore now, literally. For someone who can give a vibe of stay your social distance from me he’s all cuddles and bromance with his members and pretty much has a family dynamic with shownu as a father like big brother, kihyun as a reliable concerned mom and his brothers. Very close to jooheon in creating music, composing and writing. Rude. Has taken to showing his abs and body more and more to murder monbebe. Lol also fluent in English, so while the guys are all generally good he’s the best for fast translating for them. Everyone loves the Maknae. Lol 😂 They do also have a fab storyline/lore that runs through part of their discography that is truly a journey. They have constantly evolved so their style is evolving and what you get one album is not what you get the next. Ah monsta x!! They are the only group I've ever seen in concert (and it was ot7 too) and it was one of the best nights of my life! I'm only halfway thru the vid but the red head rapper is Jooheon (now known as Joohoney) he's one of my ultimate biases lol If you want reccommendations to check out in your free time: dramarama (kind of their first breakout song), jealousy, beautiful (my favorite mx song and jooheon looks incredible In it), and who do u love (their first all English single I believe and it would be literally perfect but French Montana is in it 😩)

The heavy, aggressive sound is their signature sound, but what I really love about them is that they're not afraid to do other things so their albums end up with a really nice variety of music that doesn't sound the same every song. They really are so talented! Also, you've got to take a look at their newest song Rush Hour (came out a few days ago). Plenty of rap line goodness for you.

This video was ABSOLUTELY delightful. I just recently became a Monbebe during the pandemic, so one of my very first Monsta X experiences was the Love Killa mv and it TOTALLY hooked me. I so appreciate your empathic love for the rapline, especially Joohoney who is my bias. He's such a great rapper, and Monsta X's vocal line does not get the recognition it deserves. He is also an amazing singer and he is good at english (actually everyone has improved a lot). And you won't believe it but he loves to do aegyo and he is considered the king hahaha he is so cute and wants cuddles constantly. IM is the rapper with the deep voice. "Eat me like a main dish" (he is the pervy one, yep, so be prepared haha) He is fluent in english since he lived in different countries as a kid. Maknae. Kihyun is the one you hear hitting the high notes. He is the one that looks smaller compared to the others and in Love Killa has brown hair. Shownu is the big one with full lips. The other muscle guy haha such a sweet boy and you are gonna cry with his innocent and cute personality. Minhyuk is the one with a feline face. I think you said that you like his voice in one of the two first songs. Blonde hair in Love Killa. Hyungwon, the tallest. The one that kept doind a catwalk into the frame haha and the one blonde with smokey eyes in Shoot out, the one with black and long hair and some scenes with sunglasses in Love Killa. He is a meme king and you probably has seen the clip/gif of an idol going to speak to a mic, deciding midway "nope" and start drinking his Starbucks. That's him hahahaha And well, we all know Wonho. They are still friends and sometimes meet up 🥺 And their concerts are AMAZING. When Jooheon plays the drums, omg. Seriously, you have to experience them live, it's so freaking fun.

Monsta X is a group that isn’t afraid to experiment with UNIQUE sounds. They have loads of songs with different genres and languages! They are the first group in a decade to bring out an all English album All About Luv (pop) and they are bringing out The Dreaming (their second all English album) in December. Joohoney is the main rapper and produced their two latest title tracks. Monsta X is currently having a comeback called No Limit with title track Rush Hour. Since Monsta X is a 3rd gen group there is so much information and content, so if you are interested in stanning or getting to know them better I recommend watching a guide!!

Love Killa & Gambler are probably the best songs from the K-pop industry in this covid 19 era... The concept, the lyrics/storylines, to the dance and the outfits that perfectly served the concept. It's more like a movie than just a pop song. Monsta X knows what they are doing, and they know what they are doing to us. 🤭🤭 To be honest, I think they are probably the most romantic K-pop group that I can remember... 😊😊

They do self-produce! Especially the rap line, they have individual mixtapes out as well, highkey recommend! One of their more recent title tracks "Gambler" was written by Jooheon, it's the first title track that was made by one of the members but they heavily participated in the bsides before that as well.
Yay Monsta X! I love Shoot Out and Hero so much, those songs still get a lot of play on my list. All their stuff is so good though. They did an English album and IT'S FIRE. Their English songs really deserve to have charted in the West cause omg
Monsta X’s discography is one of the strongest in k-pop imo. Their comebacks are usually very agressive but they have a lot of beautiful ballads and more chill songs too. They are also some of the most adorable boys ever, while their mv’s and live performances are a danger to my poor 40-year old heart.

They also have an English album (all about love), with one coming out his Dec. seriously, AAL is great and every song off of it is top notch. But, since you asked, the one you wondered if he was the maknae isn’t (in Love Killa, long hair, sun glasses, in Hero the one that kept walking in - that’s Hyungwon) and the one who said ‘eat me like a main dish’ is the maknae (I.M or Changkyun). The charismatic one you lost it over a few times is Jooheon (or Joohoney). They’re currently only active as 5 members because Shownu is currently enlisted.
