Loving my MDR-MV1. They have the best bass of any of my open back headphones, they’re very comfortable, and they’re very useful when I mix vocals. Expecting these will be great too! Just put these drivers in the XM6’s next year and we’re Gucci ;)

Dude they are a repackaged MDR-V6 (Japan model only), which have been the standard pair of Studio Monitor Headphones since the 80s... of course they will be good! In fact these will probably be slightly better than the V6s (V6s that were made in Japan). Just compare the specs of this upcoming MDR-M1 to the MDR-V6 and you'll see what I mean. This is top notch stuff, Sony does not mess around when it comes to making their flagship Studio Monitor headphones.
