It finally happened, I've been convinced to move from Spring Boot 2.x to Spring Boot 3 and JDK 20. I never thought it would happen but there are so many reasons to do this and zero reasons not to. I've be a pro-active advocate to move into these new technologies. Better late than never!
@@PascalThalmann The biggest reason for me is the number of students asking for newer content in Spring Boot 3 and JDK 20, not sure RU-vid but also my Udemy classes. I have finally convinced several of the companies that I work with that it no longer matters what version of Java we use now that we are using Docker and Kubernetes. This was a huge win for me. Since I'm started moving to JDK 20 it was an obvious move to go to Sprint Boot 3, now all the components are support from Oracle and VMWare/Pivotal, I'm very excited about this move!
