Love the look, glad you are going to bash it, as it could be my Xmas present to myself, I have blown my 2021 budget when I got the EX07 roller so glad it is near to Christmas so am stocking up on servo's and ESC/Motor combo ready for it to land on my doorstep in the New year.
Zd racing makes a lot of really cool models, I honestly don't mind so much that they're a bit, *ahem* let's say, "inspired by" many of the more popular models from top brands put there. Really if I could get parts easily either in my local hobby shop or shipped from within the US I would strongly consider buying from them. Unfortunately this is currently not the case and I bash hard, I've already dealt with too much downtime as a result off Arrma part shortages. Horizon Hobby itself I am sure knows exactly how much more profit they would have made if it weren't for the US's trade war with China. Here's hoping ZD Racing can secure reliable US distribution and warehousing as well as Horizon Hobby getting their supply lines ironed out. Best wishes to RC Kiwis and all my fellow R/C enthusiasts!
I've been thinking about getting the Ftx dr8 for a while now but now I've seen this I'm not so sure as the Zd looks so much better, I keep telling myself no more! As I've got enough rc's but it's like an addiction "I want them all"Lol

Hi I just got mine!! Ordered after seeing your review. Made the order on Friday (about US$500 for the RTR ver) and arrived on my doorstep on Wednesday. Super fast international delivery!! I think the manual may not be accurately printed. You mentioned that the steering servo is 25kg, however the manual says 9kg. Further, I think the picture in the manual wrongly shows the adjustment knobs for steering only on the controller. I think it should be the left knob controls for steering and throttle adjustment for the right knobs. Hope I’m right. Always appreciate your succinct and honest review. The video shots and editing are well done. Looking forward for more.
Hello!I bought DBX-07 and after i put the tires i saw that the rear tires are collapsed inside.Is this a factory or is there a way for settings?2 question-When I move the front tires in the air on left and right they are perfect but when i move the tires on the ground the control of the tires on left and the right is harder.Please give me advice.
Yes it does, Amber was right about the tunning! I've done some tunning, seems a little better but I need to go thicker on the fluid, only used 40wt but still too light I think. Cheers 🍻
I have an lst2 I converted to brushless. I kept the 2 speed and mechanical brakes on it. Besides having no reverse, I like it setup this way. The mechanical brakes takes stress off the motor and esc, not having to do the job of stopping the truck. It helps keep temps down too.

It sure does! Haha so am I! Normally we do the track first then bash, but we are doing it in reverse this time so hopfully the buggy makes it to the track! 😬😅

I cant find anywhere on the website it saying so, I imagine its your typical level of water proofing with these RC's puddles and stuff will be fine but I wouldnt submerge it in water, I dont like doing that with any rc's even if they advertise full water proof because of the bearings.. But when water is near we always tend to find a way of NOT avoiding it... 😂🍻
For those who are comparing to the FTX dr8, it is no comparison (at least the roller); Just get the roller, or get it on the cheap perhaps by waiting it out. The EX07 roller can be bought for
Very cool looks good I have the dbx10 and I'm generally happy with it the only thing that I really don't like on this it's the head lights they look pretty strange in that position 😂

No problem at all! We hope you enjoy it! Let us know how it goes, one thing I've done is topped up the oil in shocks and be sure the caps are done up properly, the lower cap (I dont know its proper name..) was loose on 2 of them, and would let air and dirt in so be sure to tighten them up and it will be great! Thats a great point! Unless your like me and forget to turn the break off, then drive around with the mechanical brake on and overheat the motor in under a minute! 😬😂
The shocks are too short and are not mounted high enough. You can see at 3:14 that the chassis cannot touch the ground before the shocks bottom out. The tires are soft enough to allow more movement, but hard landings will end up bending the shock towers and breaking suspension arms. Poor design on the suspension.
