I love that you guys said that the first love can happen in high school, college, 30s, 50s, etc. Society tends to assume first loves and relationships happen in high school, and it ends up making people that don't have relationships that early to feel like there is something wrong with them. I appreciate that you normalized finding love later in life. I also loved what Tablo said how not to compare your loves and relationships, its more about comparing your past and current self. ♥

I'm in the middle of watching this, but feeling the need to comment. Damn Tablo! You're so damn right! Well said! You are such a good love advisor! It hit me when you said "... You're just more experienced. You're just more cautious. But that's fine because you will realize that you are also much better at relationships. You are much more in control of your emotions so that, you know, no one can easily break your heart..." Anyway, I'm still wondering why you do not upload the full version of some latest videos on RU-vid. I've been waiting. 😢

They only upload the highlights on youtube. You can watch the full version as a podcast on spotify or soundcloud search tablo podcast and happy listening :)

@@flowery_path0t734 I listen on Spotify. But, tbh. Everyone has different preferences. I can watch video with more than an hour long but cannot only listen to it for more than 30 minutes. And English is not my first language, sometimes I don't get what they talk about, but by watching the video, I can turn on the cc button and it helps a lot. That's why I'm sad they only upload the highlights.

So well said. I would also add that generally loving different people feels differently too. Each person brings out a different part of ourselves (and we bring out different parts in different people as well). I did not recognize my 2nd love till the moment when I started feeling those emotions at the same depth as I felt my first love. Second love has a hard time to be seen within oneself.

bruh, I actually went through the exact same thing. fyi, even if it's a mutual break up over something completely reasonable it still hurts just as much. my relationship was about 4 or 5 years and it ended a couple months ago. my first love. now I kinda just dont know what to do with myself 🤷‍♀️

Looking back at my first love, I laugh because I thought (at the time) he was "The One". I think there will be more than one person you'll fall in love with and you'll learn lessons from it. I thought my last relationship (which was my longest) was going to be my life partner but it didn't work out. Now I'm staying single until I'm ready to open up again.

In other words, 'heart break' does not mean you literally break your heart or 'failed' in last and only love. It's more like emotional feelings of sorrow and sadness that you cannot bear with for some amount of time. You still have that heart which are not consumed of emotional feelings, but also your thoughts, memories, time, career, and etc,. Although your feelings in side of heart have broken, your whole heart is still there and ready to be affected by many other experiences and memories. You transform that heart as you want to and keep that going. And hopefully one day you will be able to find a person who sees your precious heart and hold it together with you like you will for that person.

I'm not gonna lie. I met my first love when I was a kid and we became a couple when I was in elementary school and broke up when I entered college like my first yaer in college we broke up after he proposed to me and we were planning our wedding together... And now after 5 years I still can't get over him.... I met new people i tried to date but nothing last more than few months.. I seriously don't know how to forget and move on with my life without him. It's hard first love is hard

Wow. That end but of advice there. You need to scream that for the people in the back. People are always comparing their next love to the last live, waiting for shit to happen, then when something insignificant does happen, they make a mountain out if it, because they are waiting for a bigger thing to happen. Trust me. I had to leave someone because he was like that
