First Map of Mars Electric Currents

Five years after NASA’s MAVEN spacecraft entered into orbit around Mars, data from the mission has led to the creation of a map of electric current systems in the Martian atmosphere. Unlike Earth, Mars lacks a protective global magnetic field to shield its upper atmosphere from the solar wind. Instead, the solar wind crashes into the upper atmosphere and its magnetic field lines drape around the planet. This creates an induced magnetosphere that tugs on charged particles in the Mars upper atmosphere, generating electric currents. Now, MAVEN’s detailed measurements of the magnetic environment surrounding Mars have revealed the shape of these electric currents for the first time.

These magnetic field lines look so amazing. It makes sense mapping out the currents to see where the energy is being transferred. Have you guys really looked at what the 60GHz frequencies are doing and going to do to Mother Earth and every oxygen dependant organism on her? Does it map out looking pretty like these energies. I do love Astronomy and have so many questions.

So you think planetary direct electric currents [which have no frequency] induced by magnetism, are related somehow to 60GHz mmWave radio frequencies? You must have slept through school. And the 5G nonsense you've taken on as fact - just dump it! 60GHz mmWave is non-ionising & there's no chance of it penetrating past the skin - it has an energy of 0.01% that of sunlight i.e. if you're scared of 60GHz then you should also not ever go outdoors because sunlight is 10,000 times stronger

I'm not sure how the ranking of qualifications goes, but top Environmental Scientists don't seem to have a voice and it would be great to hear which Scientists think it is safe and why. Also why Lloyds of London and every other insurer ran in the opposite direction. I love Astronomy, but I'm no scientist. Thanks.

60 GHz is nothing new Karen! Mother Earth gets bombarded by broad spectrums of frequencies every day, with discrete frequencies from hyperfine transitions of specific molecules! 1.42 GHz for atomic hydrogen, 6.67 GHz for methanol masers, and the list goes on! (This is how we map out hydrogen gas clouds, for example!) I’m a trained physicist/astrophysicist, so if you have any questions feel free to ask ahead!
@nightjarflying
@nightjarflying 4 года назад
@@karenp943 [1] Radio waves become safer at higher frequencies, not more dangerous [not counting extreme high-frequency energies, such as X-rays] this is because they cannot penetrate the skin & the moisture that skin contains. Early badly done tests exposed bare internal organs to electromagnetic radiation & took no account of real life circumstances [2] 5G type frequencies have been all around us for decades with no known ill effect - if you have a router in your house it is transmitting all the time at "5G" frequencies [3] LLoyd's of London & other insurers have not "ran in the opposite direction" with regard to 5G - insurance markets will not insure risks that are classed as "shared risks" where every customer could be a claimant at once - thus they will not insure a population against war, because IF there is a war they'll go broke. There are many types of "shared risks" which it's very hard to get insured against - if there was such a thing as a risk of all cars got stolen all at once, then there'd be exclusion on car policies not insuring cars against theft. With electromagnetic radiation the insurers will generally not take on policies protecting against ANY type of electromagnetic radiation [not just 5G] because it's an all or nothing risk they're exposing themselves to with very small premiums on one side against the risk of some court saying that x% of cancers are caused by 5G. The insurers are driven by if it's a shared risk or a pooled risk rather than science. [4] Insurers will take on 5G risk for individuals & small groups, but they've set the premium high, because it's an untried risk. There's no many decades of actuary tables on this type of risk.
