Honestly for how new this TL is, and their recent results, these were very close scores for them! 11-13 & 10-13 is very commendable. I have great hopes for them for the future.
Vs a hardstruggling Faze who looked shit since march, not really sure about that. At least they are forcing the nosee squad but they still have 2 deadweights in their roster

@@MaFiaMediaHDTwistz in Faze was both good support to everybody and still one of the best riflers at that time, with Frozen Ropz cannot play some of his spots and so on. Ropz needs time to adjust to it i think and in Shanghai we will see Ropz from last year.
I legit think he'd be better instantly if he just leaned back a little bit. He sits so close that he can't see people on his screen sometimes. When your eyes are that close to the screen, every enemy move, and especially a swing, looks much faster than it actually is because the distance the enemy travels across your view is greater. I've seen him soooo many times get the insta-gib on the first guy but he can never properly acquire and get the second one.
Two things seem clear about TL. Ultimate is seemingly the best player the organization has scouted, and Yekindar will only have 2 important kills in a game vs a top 5 opponent. He will be the first player changed, and it needs to happen.
@@mranderson3441 that's really interesting actually. That's a move that actually has an outside chance of happening? I highly doubt it, but anything is better than Yekindar. Just like Electronic in VP, he just doesn't have a place in the team.
@@mranderson3441 To be honest, I have no idea. There isn't really a 1:1 that's a promised upgrade. You would have to swap the roles a bit, which could impact Ultimate. That's the last thing you want. Maybe if IM gets kicked? Kairon? S1n? Krimbo? I don't see any aggressive rifler in the top 10 moving. Insani? Decenty? But good look with BR.
Guessed it before when I first saw the thumbnail. The thumbnail doesn't indicate a "must see" when there's liquid just like before means it's a lose, but, still proud of the team and roster because the score both of it isn't that wide
Well, TL very convincingly destroyed number 1 team Navi twice. Faze for the last 3 months has a horrible performance. No wonder the odds were so close.
@ionuttrocea567 Yeah, maybe it is too much. When those two teams faced each other, there was no way TL could beat the number 1 team, but they did. I meant they destroyed them mentally. As in both their matches, in the last map, it was obvious that navi tilted a lot.
@@mranderson3441 is more like navi throw than liquid playing.Navi was clearly saving strats for cologne.Also Liquid has no games played so navi can prepare some antistrats.But again was Liquid on mirage actually.13 2 that you can call desteoyed.
Sometimes i wonder if the analyst or the other people understand how Cs works, few bad games happen, they bring them down, whereas i am here still thinking that faze has all the element to win this off, even the game says "hey sometimes your opponent is just having a good day" Team liquid played decent, but faze was better as a team overall, no mistakes were made. GG to them. Liquid can progress and can learn from it. I'm loving to see how ultimate plays, it's so enjoyable 😭. Tho he isn't flashy, but his aggression makes it fun rather than all the players who is always holding the angle or position.
He said he knows he’s been underperforming and that he’s trying to get back to how he used to be. I personally think he’s too far gone, because he’s been underperforming since he became an igl which was like 2-3 years ago.
He is an anchor player, and his performance is more than acceptable. Though, the ones who really need to step up are Yekindar and Twistzz. After all, they are supposed to be the star players of TL.
@hman378 Making twistzz an igl must be the weirdest thing that Liquid has ever done. How come can you put your best rifler on the igl role? I think it was a huge waste of talent.
Even with FAZE hardstruggling this year, they dont have any problem vs that NA weak team. Liquid has replaced 2 players, picking the solid JKS but still arent able to compete with struggling tier 1 team, they will never win anything with players like Naf and co
@@rac8153 faze r trash in small tournaments but godly in big tournaments like kato,majors and cologne. I won't suprise if they again manage to get into finals of cologne. They always plan they A game in this big tournaments.
