Poor little kitten wanted so bad to be close to that cat. Cat is like... Umm you are not my kid and I am not adopting you, I am happy with my life as is, I don't need no kid.
When we got our new kitten ,it took awhile for our senior cat (also a female)to get use to her.About 2 days later our senior cat was grooming and cleaning our new kitten. Now,they are the best of friends
Seems like this kitten was taken from its mother too early and is craving the companionship. Also, it hasn't had the chance to learn proper cat manners
i've rescued many cats younger than this one and i've never seen one so urgent to make a new cat friend. I have seen a few attach to other things instantly, though. 2 of them instantly chose a human, one of them instantly chose a rottweiler, and one of them joined a gang of chickens (even stayed in the coop with them). None of them did so with this much fervor, though.
Sadly, you are correct. This kitten is too young, not properly weaned, and is looking for its mother. You can see how it repeatedly tries to get under the belly of the new cat, but doesn't get the familiar feedback. This would happen if its olfactory sense was impacted. Its anus is swollen, so there is something wrong with its diet or there's an infection. If I received a kitten like that I'd be taking it to the vet, not youtube. The black cat appears to be declawed, which is an incredibly cruel practice that should be banned everywhere.
It is cruel to lock the kitten in the cage after seeing it was becoming traumatised! Plus keep on putting the kitten back inside is wrong and causes injury. This kitten is far too young to be away from its mother. Those who say it’s ok to do so are cruel humans.
When i got a new kitten and tried introducing her to an older cat, it went very much like this. baby wanted to badly to be friends with the elder cat. took some time but they get along 90% of the time now.
I like how the older cat fights his instinct to smack the little one on the head, that instead of smacking him, he ends up petting the little one on the head.
It’s funny how they know not to hurt them. They just give them a tap and that’s it. A cat that size could kill a kitten outright but they’re surprisingly gentle despite the indignation and disgust.
This one was taken from its mother too early. Certainly never adopt a kitten while it's still nursing. Kittens should remain with mother until 12 to 14 weeks. They need time to socialize with the siblings.
No it wasnt, you're ridiculous and youve never raised cats apparently. This cat is roughly 6 weeks along and would be well into eating normal cat food at this point. stfu when commenting on things you know little about.
@@Paultimate7 I just looked up the websites of 3 cat charities. They all state that 8 weeks is the minimum. And that 13 to 14 weeks is recommended by the Governing Council of Cats Fancy. It seems you think your personal experience is better than the expert opinion.
@@jerremiller5542 It's called docking, and it's sadly for personal appearance. :/ The cat loses a lot of benefits when their tail is docked. Tails create balance for cats.
