I will say it looks good, I’m not sure how the clear will hold up from dust etc from the engine bay. May be a high maintenance look. I would be fine with not seeing it personally as you know it’s there and that’s what matters. However I doubt the gains they are reporting are accurate as most modern cars won’t see gains of that nature without tuning the car. I have their CAI for my Supra and I didn’t see much in the way of gains until I added a tune to my CAI & 4.5” downpipe. Yea the dyno may show a modest gain but the sauce was in the tuning to utilize the new bolt ons. I’d assume the Z06 would be the same in regards to minimal gains unless a proper tune is applied to take advantage of the additional air flow. EDIT: I did see another install where they added the Soler Throttle bodies (Soler Performance) as well and did see a 40/40 increase without tuning combining both which is impressive. BBK also make an 80mm throttle body set to go even bigger.
With a intake manifold and intake it should make around 60whp gain maybe or or less depends on how the engine likes it but I’m not sure if the tuning is unlocked yet
I’m thinking the inside of the clear cover is going to get nasty really quick with all the crap on the road getting kicked up into the engine compartment.
Hi Eddie love your videos on z06 and eray. How it is driving your z06 during heavy traffic with manual intervention of brake and accelerate since c8 models don’t have acc. Based on your videos realized that z06 is more fun than eray which I have ordered jan 2023. Planning to trade eray to z06 when I get it but bit confused between z06 and 911 turbo s since I can afford either of them. Since u test drive other cars please clarify whether it is more fun to drive z06 or Porsche 911 turbo s with lightweight package ?
Love the Eventuri intake. I’ve had one on my Z07 for about 2 months now, I was lucky enough to get one of the first 10 ✌🏼 Now you need some high flow cats !!! That will literally transform the car beyond belief. See ya at the Bash!!!
