Thinking of putting a catless down on my gte aristo but wonder if it would make the same drastic difference and sound jump? I want that but have been told it will still be quite even with the down 🤔
@@rageingcomedy6713 haha, youre living in lala land bro. i have a supra... so i can speak from experience that youre not obtaining over 600 from a tune. a custom tune (max effort) + e50 will get you in the high 500s, 550-580. to achieve 600+ you need to upgrade your turbo.
@@alexxkolev hear any turbo spool? I want to go catless on mine for power potential with the JB4, but also to hear some sweet, sweet turbo noise off the hot side.
@@alexxkolev lemme know how that cloning works. I'm very skeptical about sending my ecu off half way across the world to get cloned, and worrying about it getting lost in the mail. Too risky if you ask me.
That depends on the state, if he's in a state like Tennessee then he has nothing to worry about. The emissions thing is just another monetary scam in a long list of monetary scams created by people with bad intentions.
It's this reason why I went with an activeautowerk catted downpipe, so I don't have to worry about passing emissions here in Nevada. I also paired it with a magnaflow X mod exhaust, that you can make it fully straight piped if you want to since everything is V band. The exhaust system comes with test pipes to remove the mufflers. It's not cheap, but it's so worth it.
@@PaulCotton yeah, I installed the downpipe by myself. It wasn't hard to do since everything it Vband clamps, but I still wouldn't want to spend the time to swap it out every year.
