You need to install some wheel spacers to bring the tire sidewalls further out and flush with the wheel arches. I did this with my Mustang after lowering it and pushing those tire out--just seals the deal! Makes the car look really nice and aggressive.
You won’t gain anything on exhaust mods except noise differences. The stock exhaust and intake are very free flowing. Car is looking hood, almost bought a black vert but found a vapor blue instead.
@@jonathandiaz1244 the 6 dynos I’ve seen has a high of 4hp. If someone hit 8 hp I’d be curious as to how close the stock run was to the exhaust run. Lots of factors can add 6-8hp on the exact same setup. And if it does actually add that, 6-8 hp isn’t worth the $200-400 it costs.
@@ohboy2592 You must have misunderstood me i mean the LITTERAL figures from ford shows the s650 GT with an active exhaust has 486 HP vs non active is 480 so YES an exhaust DOES add horsepower.
@@jonathandiaz1244 i have yet to see a dyno proving the active exhaust gains. I was going off of cat back or resonator delete mods from non active exhaust as that’s all I’ve seen on the dyno runs. The hp gains are minimal and if you are willing to spend $300-$1,000 on 4-5 hp well you are better off telling people you did it for the sound. But it’s not my money so each is their own.
Pretty sweet ride there!! Did lowering it have any effect on the handling or ride quality at all, good or bad? I love the lowered look, but I would not want to sacrifice ride quality even if it makes it look more badass. My GT Premium Convertible really is more of a touring car before a show car or racing car. My wife & I like to take long trips in it. I don't want it to ride rough, choppy, too stiff, or be bottoming out all the time...
LOL ... I had paused it right at the 2:00 mark to ask the handling question....which you answered about 5 seconds after I resumed watching the video. 😂
They should have made the back side window come down like the old cars. The car starting to grow on me but I didn't like it at first to I seen the rtr. Hopefully they get better in the next 2 generations. Was waiting on this car but now I'm just going to get a older model to mode out a little. I'll wait for the next few models of this generation to see what they do with it. The black looks good but black hard to keep clean you can't use a rag on it or you will see everything.
Beautiful car but I’m just not into this mustang Camaro. Someone in person today at the show room. Wasn’t that impressed with the shade. Interior was beautiful. But don’t get me wrong. It’s a nice car.
Drive the new car!!! Best driving / handling Mustang ever, hands-down a significant improvement!!! Over >113 areas were addressed in the S650 over the S550. Once you are impressed with the driving you will start liking the body & interior. I went to a test drive event with my Mustang Club and 14 of 24 beforehand were not liking the new car. After everyone drove the car….24 of 24 all liked & supported the new S650. I had thought there was no way that Ford had made the S650 better than the 2018-2023 GT. I was wrong!!! Everything is better, windshield, seats, lights (all LEDs now), engine, handling, acceleration, brakes (best brakes ever‼️‼️‼️), steering wheel, E-brake/ease of using the Drift Brake!!! The screens are responsive and zero sun glare and ease of use while driving!!!! Night driving is definitely better. The exhaust!!! Best stock sound ever!!!Etc. Still love the S197 & S550 but this car’s only complaint is price but blame inflation on biden!!!! Both MT-82 & 10R80 have been significantly improved!!! Biggest improvement overall for me. Go check it out!!! Cheers 👍💪😎🇺🇸✝️
