This is the first night I'm spending sleeping in the van! If you're considering van life and don't know what to expect (especially as a solo female), here's a little bit of what you can expect. If you're a college student considering van life, I'll show how its a totally achievable goal.

Going to Uni while living in a van. I did it way back when. A lot of young adults do it now. I like seeing the youth today take control of their futures like this. Gives me hope for the future.

During the warmer days/nights I leave my sunroof and windows cracked. Almost to the point you can’t tell they’re open. It really helps a lot especially having a sunroof. Your vehicle will stay a lot cooler at night.

Your going to love the mobility and freedom of van life. I live in a bus and my school years are long past but life in a van is hard to leave if you live travel

I am 13 but as soon as I get um my drivers license I am totally having a van life I'm not the type that lives in city and what not but I think it'll fit my style

Park off campus, tho. Unless you have a permit and they also allow sleeping overnight in a vehicle on campus, or in town there. Some cities enforce a "No spleeping overnight in a vehicle" ordinance. Just an infraction. The wealthier the city, the more likely it's an enforced ordinance. Cops, or private security can be a nuecance. Check with campus, and city hall, first to be safe. 10 year California coast Vanlifer, here.

Melinda Hunt this is a 1997 Ford econoline. It’s a high top campervan type which is great because there’s more room than a regular cargo van and typically it has more home type features. It’s more affordable than sprinter vans also
