First Ocean Sail | Catalina 25 

I finally had our first ocean sail in our Catalina 25. With my wife out of town I was soloing it today, which might have been best. I motored down the Cape Fear, out the Western Bar Channel between Jay Bird Shoals and Oak Island, and around back to the Cape Fear River entrance.
It was bouncy and topsy-turvy, but the old C-25 handled it well. In fact, she did better than I did! It was a day of that taught me several lessons and things I need to pay attention to besides the wind and tides/currents.
