First Over Dimensional Cargo arrives for NREP via National Waterway 2 | NRL 

Marking a milestone for the mega Numaligarh Refinery Expansion Project, the first Over Dimensional Cargo consignment - a DHT Reactor of 521 tonnes - arrived at Pandu Port on 12 April 2023 via National Waterway 2. Transported over 1400 km through the Sunderbans and the Indo Bangladesh Protocol Route with the support of Inland Waterways Authority of India, the cargo is on its way to Silghat, and further along the Dhansiri river to NRL jetty near the Project Site in Numaligarh.
This movement marks the beginning of a landmark ODC logistics project in NW 2 and demonstrates the collaborative efforts of the government and private sector towards economic development in the Northeastern region.
