First People of the Pacific Northwest: The Photography of Edward S. Curtis 

As a native coastal Oregonian, interested in the history of all of the people of the Pacific northwest, I found this to be a wonderful tribute to the true Natives of my homelands! Their spirits live on by our remembrance of their lives and their sacrifices.

This is a wonderful video!! Thank you for sharing it here on RU-vid. Thank you Edward Curtis for your work capturing these indigenous people and their lives and culture. I'm from Renton, Land of the Duwamish and Muckleshoot. I was born here in 1950. I have always been fascinated by our PNW history and again, thank you for sharing some of the history before the history I was taught.

Thank God for Mr. Curtiss! He knew these native cultures were disappearing and was driven to complete his work before it was too late! In his time, traversing North America could not have been easy. It was truly a labor of love!

thank you! this is true american history. too bad we didnt learn much about indians when i was going to school. so grateful to have resources such as this to educate myself now
