I saw this and it was amazing. I thought the story was written very well and I thought Louis McCartney did an incredible job playing the role of Henry Creel. I hope he gets nominated for an Olivier award for Best Actor in A Play for Stranger Things: The First Shadow and I hope the play gets nominated for an Olivier as well because it was that brilliant. I highly recommend this show to anyone who is a big Stranger Things fan like me. Plus I hope it does a WestEnd tour.
Just saw this…amazing special effects but some of the characters just didn’t do justice to the original ones, and for a serious ST fan like myself all of the errors with the plot just could not go unnoticed..Henry went into a coma right after killing his mother, Henry is quite a different character from what is portrayed in the series…his mannerism etc does not fit, Dr Brenner using gang sign? Please…the list goes on.
Its such a shame that Stranger Things is a gatekept IP that is exclusive. It segregates the fanbase and oozes snobby hollywood elite slime. Either way, always remember these kind of stories are loosely based on real historical people and situations, obviously not to this degree but yeah. Vampiric aliens are real ya'll. Get right with the divine.
