Ah, so this is what my director was inspired by. Listening to other performances, they all sounded so different from how I'd done it. Even so... I yearn to sing this with my choir again. It was very fun to learn and even more fun to perform

My high school choir is getting the privilege of singing this in New York with Stoope himself for the Choirs of America festival! We were all shocked when we heard the piece 😂

It sounds like a music piece far older from the 1970ties or so. Like Distler or Kodály.
