Haha I’ve also just discovered G-Idle yesterday. They are indeed different in a way I can’t explain, but they are different. I wasn’t expecting this from a kpop girlgroup.

What’s really amazing about G-idle is that their leader Soyeon or the girl that was rapping writes and produces most of their music, along with other members that have written and produce other songs from their newest album. They are an amazing and talented group and I do recommend them. The songs that I recommend is Lion, Oh my god, and Uh oh those are my favorite title tracks😄

The girl you like(the silver-hair girl) is name Jeon Soyeon is the one who write and compose this song and All their title track(actually almost 90% of all their songs) and she also produced outside of her group too.She's the main mastermind in their unusual/different sound😊 I would be very happy if you react to more (G)i-dle stuff😁 like Lion

(G)I-DLE creates its own songs. Each time it is a different concept. It is their principle to create songs that only (G)I-DLE can express. This is great.Captain Soyeong is the main creator and the top Rapper in South Korea In addition, this song is deliberately composed in ancient Korean, and the whole song is completely free of English, which is a very special Kpop.

(G)I-DLE is amazing. The most unique girl group in k-pop, and Soyeon is an incredible rapper (in addition to producing, composing, and arranging most of their music!)

You should definitely checkout oh my god and dumdi dumdi by G- idle. PS: the girl u liked? Her name is Soyeon. She’s the leader and main rapper and she writes and produces a lot of G-idle songs. These bunch of girls are definitely unique and amazing definitely look out for their songs in the future.

Gidle actually is its own genre i really cant compare their songs to any other songs its dark, fun, vibrant, beautiful its just awesome!

Imagine that they produce their own music and write their own lyrics, that's rare for k-pop and even more rare among girl groups. Three members took part in producing the new album (of which "Hwaa" is the title track/comeback). Huge talent. It's funny that you said that they have their own genre while reacting to the first song of theirs, because that's what both the members, fans and other people from the entertainment industry say about them 😀 they are really diverse, always looking for a new sound and new concept to try. I suggest you to react to the whole album "I burn" (for me is their best album) and their other title tracks Latata, Hann, Senorita, Uh oh, Oh my god, Dumdi dumdi and Lion (a song the made for a show called Queendom, that imo is their best song). I highly recommend you react to (G)I-DLE's Latata (their debut title track), so you can see where they started, as well as how far they've come since then. I might get some details wrong here, but (G)I-DLE's debut was being repeatedly postponed back in 2017/2018, as Cube Entertainment had difficulty finding songs that were fitting for the new group - the fact that one of the members (Shuhua, the one with the fire on her fingers at the end) wasn't fluent in Korean wasn't exactly helping their case either. That didn't stop Jeon Soyeon (the leader of the group). She basically sat down, wrote Latata and handed it over to Cube (might as well have went "You still don't think we're ready?"). Not only did Soyeon write the lead single, she was involved in the production of about half of the songs for her group's debut EP "I Am", and has since become even more involved in the creative process - (G)I-DLE's previous EP "I Trust" was written SOLELY by her. Soyeon can rap, sing, dance, write, produce, lead... what CAN'T this girl do??? Right, she can't eat vegetables as she despises them! Regardless, the girl's level of talent is insane. I'd be remiss if I didn't bring up the fact that being involved in the production of music isn't a trait exclusive to Soyeon. Last summer, Yuqi (girl with the deep voice and short haircut) and Minnie (girl with the red hair) wrote "I'm The Trend", which can only be described as "the (G)I-DLE fan anthem". That was not a one-off thing either (nor a first, as Minnie had already written "Blow Your Mind" for the group's second EP "I Made"), as Yuqi and Minnie wrote and produced one song each for the new EP "I Burn" ("Lost" and "Dahlia" respectively), with Minnie being involved in the music for one additional song ("Moon"). 2 1/2 years after (G)I-DLE's debut, and their newest EP has reached #1 on iTunes in 52 countries around the world , and managed to score 3 consecutive days as #1 on iTunes worldwide. Its only been about 2 months since I first became aware of this group, and while it may be a little bit too dramatic, I'm pretty sure that *I would die for them.*
