FIRST REACTION OF 2022! DREAMCATCHER SCREAM IS AMAZING! 

Fellow metalhead here. Scream is part 1 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. It is mostly showing the victim's perspective of (cyber)bullying, comparing it to a medieval witch hunt. The tree is the tree of language, and it grows black fruit for every hurtful thing people say. Note also the hand gesture, it is the devil's horns introduced by Ronnie James Dio as a symbol for metal, but it originally was a gesture in the middle ages to ward off the evil eye, tying into the witch hunt theme. I really enjoy the music, it's rock mixed with EDM. Dreamcatcher are always very creative, and they are in their own genre by this point. Part 2 is "Boca"! 🤘😊🤘

Great reaction! I assume the trilogy you're talking about is Scream, Boca and Odd Eye (by this order). They're all good songs! If you want to get to know the heavier side of Dreamcatcher, you should check their japanese releases. I recommend "Endless Night" and "No More".

dreamcatcher \:D/ scream is part 1 of the dystopia trilogy which is a criticism of the internet/social media. as you might have already picked up, scream addresses online hate. there's a bunch of imagery helps convey the theme but that would take too long to go through in a single comment :D. part 2 is boca, and part 3 is odd eye. as people may have already noted, dreamcatcher continually blends different genres into their music and scream is their version of edm/rock. happy new year and may you and your family catch all your dreams ;)

This guy is literally me listening to song for like 123456789 time. I am not kidding, I literally get sometimes chills when I hear this song. It's the best song I've ever got the chance to listen to, not just a k-pop song.

Highly recommended to listen to "Boca" and "Odd Eye" after this, as it carries HEAVY storyline. Dreamcatcher has so much firepower on all sides. When the rest of the fucking world learns to appreciate them? Oh man watch out. They're one of my ult groups alongside PIXY (Also highly recommend them, they're not rock influence but they debuted with a VERY dark/horror concept), and Red Velvet.

I recommend starting from the beginning, their debut and onwards, their earlier stuff is harder rock.

Sunny Visual Production make their videos. Kpop agencies don't make MV's for their groups. Sunny is well known for their fantasy based visual style and their outstanding cinematography.
