Thank you for your reaction. You may want to check out her live performances and practice video of this song and her other songs in the album such as: 'Voyage' 'Indigo Promise' 'If We Do'
In fact, Sejeong is an extremely sweet, kind, vulnerable, funny, cheerful, talented and very, very hard-working woman. A ray of sunshine wherever she goes. However, she went through many hardships during her life, so she knows the hard side of life and that gives her the ability to be as dark as she needs on stage. She is great and versatile in everything she does. Her acting is impressively natural at expressing the right emotions, drama or comedy, it's great. Sexy or pretty, delicate or brave, affectionate or cold and brutal, she does everything well. Her vocal technique is also refined and versatile, she can sing anything and her emotional delivery is outstanding. She is excellent at musical theater. Their movements can be sexy, elegant, brave, sporty, whatever you want. She trained judo for one of her dramas and all types of combat for another and she does most of her stunts. An absolutly exceptional performer and a genuine and charming woman.
About the MV, the song is inspired in Black Swan and describes this person who pushes herself until she reaches a prominent place (Top) but who continue pushing herself beyond all limits risking falling off the cliff. So it is a question, if she is authentic, she is at the Top, but if she serve a false image, life becomes unbearable and she will end up falling off the cliff. The MV is a metaphor where part of her, her true self, fights in her own mind to free herself from the thoughts that force her to live under that false image of perfection. She fights to be free and authentic against her own ideas and aspirations, but also against the influences and control of others and against the consequences of fame. The house is her mind or her life subjected to serving that false image of herself and leaving it is to free herself and be herself. At a certain point we see her fight with herself to reveal the metaphor of her inner struggle. There are many details in the images that describe all this background.
Yes, this song and the whole vibe is sexy. I recommend you see her performance of this song dancing and singing live, it is so great. Inkigayo performance highlights her amazingly stable voice more, but Mnet's version is definitely sexier dancing barefoot.
@V3actions the way I interpreted the MV is her going against the Idol image. Could use the flock of people as the industry and her fighting herself is her separation of her idol image and actress image.

Great reaction! Very perseptive. BTW despite being an amazing singer, she is most known for her acting, most notably heavy action stuff (*Uncanny Counter*) but also screwball romcom (including *Business Proposal* which led to her being nicknamed Korea's Emma Stone). And you already know her from variety shows - yet another genre that she's pretty famous for being great at. And then there's the modeling ... it just goes on and on, lol. 🙂
The end with her smoking was a surprise. Not gonna see an idol do that at all. Thats them actors privilege lol. But the short version she doesn't light it.
