I would pay good money to see this group back together. They are so good!

before BTS blew up it was BAP's era. they were all over the charts and their digitals are also no joke for a rookie group. everyone expected them to grow big but unfortunately, their company fucked them up really bad. this is one of the groups that i really treasured because not only do they produce quality music and has talented members but they're also very socially aware. if you have time to look at their b-sides they talk about issues within their country, abuse, etc. which is definitely a breath of fresh air in the kpop world. oh and talk about music diversity, they can do really cute concepts and really intense in your face music to all out ballad. thank you so much for reacting to them you don't know how much this means to us :(((

B.A.P are all about Society, Mental Health and Stuff. Which is the Reason for all the Deep Lyrics and Symbolism.

B.A.P had the best and most successful debut back in 2012 with warrior.

I remember they broke the stage floor while performing Warrior dance break on an award show (forgot which one)

The Dude with the deep Voice is Bang Yongguk, our Leader and Angel 💜

BAP sadly aren’t active anymore. In 2014, all members filed a kawsuit against their company for unfair profit distribution and (I think) mistreatment. They later settled and went back to promoting, but the members all left TS when their contracts were up in 2018/19 and went their separate ways. The guy with the deep voice is Yongguk, leader and rapper. The other rapper who raps really fast is Zelo, maknae, dancer and rapper. The two vocalists are Daehyun (main vocal and “main character” in Skydive) and Youngjae (lead vocal and the guy who gets kidnapped in One shot) (personally they are one of my favorite main-lead vocal combinations in Kpop, their voices sound so nice bouncing off each other). Then there’s Jongup (dancer and the traitor in Skydive), and Himchan (vocalist and the guy with red hair in Wake me up)

For reference, (I'm not sure if you read Hangul), the first note says "go to the alley", the second "kill the informant", and the last "kill Himchan." The concept in Skydive is because Daehyun got the last photo while he was passed out in his gang's hideout, he starts to suspect one of them is the kidnapper. In black&white he remembers strange things all the members have been doing. The D-day job is just another hit. None of the others know Daehyun's girl is abducted... Or do they?

In skydive mv there were 2 b-side tracks added. The beat in the intro was "PRAY (CONFESSION)" sang by the rappers line yongguk n zelo. And the ballad vibes in the middle was "FERMATA" sang by the rest of vocals line. Bap members now active as soloists and start their actor career after their contract expired from T$, but they stated that the weren't disbanded. Wake Me Up was a really important comeback to us fans. You probably noticed that it talks about some pretty heavy stuff regarding mental health, body image, depression etc. Yongguk (leader of Bap with the deep voice) previous to this MV was on hiatus due to a panic disorder and did not participate in any of the promotions of the previous comeback skydive and he returned to the group with that MV and this very personal topic of raising awareness to mental health issues. Bap really are a power group but they truely can pull of any concept. they are one of those groups that seem to be not albe to produce a bad song and they have done it all from heavy metal (Dystopia, Bang x2) to feel good songs (feel so good^^, that's my jam), slower more ballady songs (where are you, coffee shop), and then of course all the revolution and standing up to the establishment stuff you already wittnessed (power, badman, no mercy, hands up) and loads more I have not mentioned here, prepare yourself for a ride bc it's absolutely amazing. And if you have not had enough by then all the members have solo music out as well. Also the Album to Skydive 'Noire' is probably one of my favourite albums in kpop in general (parts of two songs on the album, pray and fermata, were also in the skydive mv) it alwys makes me so proud when other people discover Bap, they suffered under trash management but they blessed us with powerful and meaningful music. The members said one day they will come back as a group the true fans will be here for that until then we just support the members in their individual endeavors. As their fan i can say anyone into kpop should know about them, cz their messages are really deep and strong, their lyrics are always meaningful not always about love and break ups, but about social issues, and even when they talked about love they used different point of view that's what i like about them. We can't forget their talents " dance vocal rap visuals style...."

Omg!!!! I never expected you to react to B.A.P. Seeing as you're familiar with TS Entertainment, you can guess what happened to the group. It really was a long battle for them and it would be worth checking out a video about their story. You're right, Warrior was their debut song and what a debut it was, certainly set them apart from other groups that debuted along with them in 2012. It's just unfortunate that circumstances made them lost the popularity they gained. I really have to thank the person who requested this reaction, B.A.P were the first group I saw in concert and will always have a place in my heart.

Hands down, the only group I've ever spent money on.. i was into kpop since around 2008 but never really stan any group/idols, not until b.a.p was introduced by zelo and yongguk.. the only group that was actually different than generic/standard kpop group..what makes em different was that their music talks about the dark side of society, mental illness and more sensitive topic, while most kpop group sings about love and cliche stuff.. then, you see how their mv are like movies, no other group does that back in the day..and that's how bts actually managed to pull in more fans.. they started making mv like b.a.p did.. not actually comparing ,just an example, because people are sleeping on this amazing group not knowing that b.a.p was the rookie monster that stepped up the game.. b.a.p and t-ara are both still my favourite ,both were unique and different than any other groups, imo at least.. but both disbanded ,thanks to company mistreatment and controversy..

They were the first Kpop group who sang no shitty love-dovey, girl friend boy friend, break ups, flirting, love love love stuff. BangYongGuk, the deep voice rapper, the leader, and their Singer song writer is a bone deep humanitarian and a socialist. Their lyrics were all about the bad politics and how youngsters should wake up, fight, and work hard to change the world. Bang was the man who aspired to be Martin Luther King, Jr. Although the MV are violent, if you watch his interviews, he’s the most pure hearted guy. I miss him a lot.

B.A.P. could be one of the most powerful korean boy group right now if TS Entertainment wasn't a shitty company. (They were worst than JYPE with GOT7) I was a fan of B.A.P. since their debut. They were the strongest debuting Rookie back then. They were treated so bad (really bad they are one of the more mistreated group in the history of Kpop) by their company they had to sued the company. They were at the top before the lawsuit. Charting on Billboard and everything but when they sued their company (and they were right to sue them) they couldn't promote during for a whole year. And in between BTS became big, BTS concept was close to B.A.P. concept, when they returned to TS Entertainment after the lawsuit they could never go back to their past fame. (Lot of Baby (=the fandom name) switch to BTS) Personally I am still listening to their music (they are still in my workout playlist. I guess I like violence when I do sport hahaha) As you asked his name, the one with the husky & deep voice is Bang Yongguk (he is the leader), he started as an underground rapper before B.A.P. B.A.P. are not active as a group since the end of their contract with TS Entertainment in 2019 (and before that 2 members: Yongguk and Zelo left the group in 2018 because their contract expired before). But you can still follow their individual activities.

HAHAHAHAHAHAAA oh lord watching people watch skydive for the first time is my favourite thing ever its hilarious im in Tears glad you liked b.a.p! they're genuinely so so good, so talented. they haven't been active (officially) as a group since the beginning of 2019. when their 7 year contacts ran out, they all decided not to renew. as you mentioned you know a bit about ts entertainment, im sure you can figure out why. they actually filed a lawsuit against tsent in 2015 as a group but eventually had to settle and wait out their contracts. They still show up in each others sns posts and at each others fan meetings and i'm quite sure that they'll work together in some format after they've all finished their military service. The leader Yongguk (the deep voiced one that you like) is due to be discharged in May. Daehyun, the main vocal, won't be discharged until May 2022. The rest haven't started their service yet. They all have good solo songs/albums. I especially love Yongguk's solo stuff, I recommend listening to AM 4:44, Hikikomori, Yamazaki, Orange Drive. They all have MVs.

My explanation for Wake Me Up: here is my explanation for the new fans: it talks about social problems; like the girl with the make up trying to be as pretty as the society tell her to be but she still doesnt feel good about herself so she breaks the mirror hating it... the guy seen in the room seems like he is lost and then he seems relieved like he knew the truth but kept going ignoring it until u see gunshots meaning sometimes u shutting up about the truth can hurt other people. the guy in the bathtub represent anxiety and depression that keeps on pulling u and U hust cant wake up... the girl that cooks shows how she just do whatever they tell her and she cant seem to see the worms in her food until late when wanting to eat... the guy with the sign want to move people to speak out loud their mind but they ignore him and only see the TV behind him,as in reality people will only look at what the media says and look past reality thats why the fill our heads with shit lol so he breaks up the car to get the attention it may mean thats why terrorist attacks happen as a result of frustration. and in the end B.A.P comes out with the light telling the world to wake up and never give up cuz at the end of the tunnel there is ALWAYS LIGHT. B.A.P as a group lasted for a few years before it was found that their company had been doing wrong things, causing some of the fans( BABY) to leave the fandom. It also caused B.A.P to go on a hiatus. BTW, the leader of the group (Yongguk) had been dealing with a serious mental health issue and needed a break from the group. He returned in Wake Me Up. The rapper in Warrior that has a fast rap was the maknae Zelo. Usually, high notes are done by Daehyun. The other vocalist is Youngjae. The guy that betrayed the others at the end of Skydive is Jongup. He has blue hair. Himchan has red hair in Wake Me Up. Unfortunately, the company (TS Entertainment) did not treat them well and they decided to disband due to poor mistreatment in February 18, 2019.

BAP are the OGs of these revolution concepts wayyy back in 2012 before it becomes a trend and media use it for trend. The only group who can pull it off close to them are Stray Kids and Ateez (Sound wise)

I'm so happy that you are really enjoying the music so much, i understand your feeling cause that my reaction when i watch it back days. My teenage time spend well with their music, if you like it i would suggest to you more 2000s kpop music for you to enjoy it and let me know if you like it better than new generation kpop. Im not saying that the new generation is not good they are good just that they bring nostalgia to me cause i grow up listening to them and i have a lot of memories with it.
