Dimash’s “Ave Maria, Ave Amore” section really elevates love to the status of angels, juxtaposed with the climax which is desperate and almost a fierce war cry for love. I don’t know the language but that’s my take away. I’m probably completely wrong, but it makes me cry too because it exposes the good and the ugly sides of Love and the human condition no one can truly explain. Xx

I often find myself thinking how a 70 yr. old man from the top of California and a twenty-something from Denmark can have the same response to a song where I know at least one of them has no idea what the song is about, except for the emotion conveyed by the singer. As Dimash sang I got a Bogart/Bergman Casa Blanca feel of a love mean't for someone else, and the melancholic happiness that a person sometimes feels when things go that way. Now I have no idea what the song is about, I could be way off, but that's how it landed for me. I know that you were having an emotional moment too. You know what still kind of upsets me? That Dimash can sing a song like that and rip those emotions out of us and then he can walk away from it like it was just a song!! Daneliya Tuleshova and Angelina Jordan and Morissette from the Philippines can all do the same thing. Oh well, I guess I'd rather be able to respond the way I do than not respond at all. Dimash is like no other. Everytime he sings he touches my heart and my soul. Each performance is unique and he always adds something that is surprising and special. I saw him in New York when he was a guest performer in Igor Krutoy's 65th Anniversary show on 10/26/2019. Then it was announced that Dimash would bring his solo concert to New York on 12/10/2019. He was magnificent. I wanted to hear him in person before I died. (I'm 71 now) I thought I would never see him in person but I did. I want to see him again and experience his work. I'm working on getting my passport so I can travel to see him. There is an electric feel, an excitement that is in the air that I had never experienced before. You can go to his RU-vid channel and see his Arnau Kinetic concert. There is also his Moscow concerts which is a compilation of the back to back shows he did there. That version of Sinful Passion is amazing. Also his Kiev concert is just as wonderful. I know how you felt at the end of his performance. Love your reactions. A Dear from Florida, USA
