First of all, All night enthusiast we are winning Second, fun fact even when they were 9 none of them has the same sign, and taeyeon really like zodiac sign over anything else Lastly, eventhough you claimed that you didn't notice taeyeon, tbh you got her voice right most of the time in this video 😂 also at one point i think she changed her singing style (?) that's why her voice sounds different and not to mention she's versatile like VERSATILE she can pull any genre so well, you won't regret diving into her discography. One thing about her sometimes her title track didn't represents how great the albums are and what she capable to show so i suggest you to check her b-side too...also she's so good during her live performances, you should check her concerts

Someone else said it but Taeyeon’s discography is literally amazing. There are a few collective albums in kpop that are unanimously agreed to be the best such as f(x)’s Pink Tape and I think both of her full albums (My Voice and Purpose) fit in that category. There’s literally no one who can say anything bad about her music. About the dancing, back then kpop dances were made to be trends (and many still are now). Most of Snsd’s dances are known by a lot of people and are purposely catchy. I personally know the whole chorus dance to Genie 😂 I love how much you fan-girl over All Night. The song meant a lot to me when it came out and is still one of my favourite songs. It didn’t get nearly as much recognition as it should.

You have to check “You Think” “Into the New World-BALLAD VERSION” from them... your will cry at the end. “You Think” is not a cute concept. They look mature beautiful women and the vocals are out of this world. “Catch me if you can” is one of or the most difficult choreography from a girl group and they even slayed hard when they were performing it live. They are just legends... literally the vocals were on point with all of those hards moves... 👑 They do Not know what is lipsync...🙌🏻

You must to check out Taeyeon Solo because Since she's debuted as a solo artist she always freaking amazing singer in Kpop. Taeyeon is Number One best singer in all genre's of music. She's deserved so much award just like SNSD is legendary group in kpop music. I recommended you to be checkout Taeyeon sing On Concert it's Live Performance (BetterBabe,UR,IntoTheUnknown,Speechless,I,Fine,Voice,RescueMe,FeelSoFine,etc) also she's have full album it's called "purpose" hope you react the whole song on that album.

Hello again. I'm so delighted you liked "All Night' so much---not because I really like it too, but because you really seemed to appreciate the style of it. I was in my 20's in the 1980's, going to many of the coolest clubs in Manhattan at the time (the Area, Limelight, Danceteria, The Globe etc) and though I don't remember ever seeing 8 gorgeous Korean girls together, this video really captures the adventure, style and ambiance of those times, as I remember it. Regarding Catch Me If You Can: What you saw there was the official version, which was a complete re-shoot of the original version, which actually had Jessica in it--but then the whole Jessica departure shit-show happened before the song was released, hence the re-shoot. Consider, they had to perform with that energy and enthusiasm when the group was seemingly being torn apart. That's one reason, among many, why SNSD is literally "legendary" ---"unbreakable" ( that's a notable lyric of theirs by the way---you haven't seen/heard that song yet). The original MV with Jessica in it was leaked a couple of years later, and is easily found on RU-vid. Oh yes--despite Taeyoen's dramatic description ("bleeding from~" is a common Korean expression) SNSD has performed CMIYC plenty of times in their 3-hour long live concerts. You mentioned Red Velvet. SNSD are personally very close to RV. Their are some incredibly adorable fancams of SNSD and RV in rehearsals for SM-Town Tour performances where SNSD helps RV for the concert's closing stage, and nudge RV to stand in front of them for maximum exposure, even though SNSD are the biggest and most senior stars on the stage. SNSD are in fact friends with many other k-Pop stars and groups---"rivals" included. From this point on in your journey with SNSD, practically every MV will surprise you. They ALWAYS did something different and new from any other group. Of course SM had a lot to do with that--but it's because SNSD had a depth and breadth of talent, as individuals and as a group, that no else could match that made it possible, and that arguably remains unmatched even today. SNSD's songs and choreography became a foundational training curriculum for today's 3rd and 4th Generation girl groups. Search on SNSD 'covers'---there are TONS of them, for music shows and K-Con/SM Town/Mnet Asia tours. Notwithstanding the current crop of excellent singers and dancers in K-Pop, Taeyeon is presently widely regarded in the induistry, as the best vocalist, and Hyoyeon as the best dancer. Korean media now describes ( Los Angeles born and raised) Tiffany now as an "international star" . She's not so big in the US (yet) but as a soloist ( who also writes her own songs and styles her own MVs) she's big in Asia ( she can draw 10--20K crowds in Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Philippines), and in Korea, of course. You should check Tiffany Young's solo work---I think you'll be impressed. . That's all just the music side of SNSD. Then there's the acting and musical theater, and modelling, and dj-ing and TV show hosting and comedy ---but this comment is long enough. I'm enjoying your series. Keep going---there's so much to discover about SNSD, that I'm sure you will enjoy. Best wishes.

Seems to me you like both Hyoyeon and Taeyeon! They shine a lot more in their solo music, so you should definitely check it out! (Specially Hyoyeon, since she didn't have that many lines in their older songs) The good thing about being a Girls' Generation fan is that by now most of them have work on their own that makes their style shine as individuals, besides the work they had with GG.

For me, their difficult choreo is "karma butterfly". You can watch their concert in japan when they perform this song. The choreo, the outfit, and their visual is awsome.

Yeah, when you mentioned SNSD music make you think about Red Velvet, just so agree for it. That's why I love SM artist so much. They always experiment new things new genre new sounds, try every genre of music styles, so we will never get bored from them, no way. But because of their unique styles, so not everyone will go into them straightly or want to understand them more after first listen, and peoples are hard to accept their music. That's a little bit sad for me as a very huge fan. SNSD and Red Velvet are my favourite girl group, happy that you check them out. Wish more RV and SNSD content in the future~

For Taeyeon's solos I really Recommend reacting to Spark, I Got Love and Rain! She really has a different picture as a soloist and it shows more of her versatility as a vocalist. Four Seasons, Fine and Why are great choices, too!

Some notes to help you: It's the JAPANESE M/Vs of their songs that generate copyright strikes, and the simple workaround to avoid that is to just horizontally reverse the video ( left becomes right, graphics become 'backwards). I mention this for a good reason--there is a broad consensus that their Japanese songs, sung in Japanese, filmed and directed by Japanese crews, are BETTER than the Korean ones. Reasons may vary as to why, but in my opinion they are indeed better at least because they show the choreography more, and more completely ( why the hell the Korean version cuts out Hyoyeon's signature moves at the break, I'll never know). Also their live performances of Genie are noticeably different I'm thinking particularly of the ReMix version and the Jazz version ( though there are a couple more), and again, these are by-far preferred over the original version. In fact, I'd say 85%-90% of their discography is much better live in concert---live is what the girls lived- for and what they are rightfully most famous for. Even their cutesy songs---which like you, are not really my taste---take on a whole new and more appealing life, in concert. PLUS there songs in their live performances---killer songs that you WILL really like (such as T.O.P, and Animal)---for which there are no MVs ( no-idea why, they are bad-ass!) Final note: You don't need to apologize for having less than usual makeup. I'd say in this video you happen to have the amount of makeup that Korean women ( and K-pop stars) prefer. You don't HAVE to be at what you consider your visual best, to make these videos, and for people to watch (if that's their criteria, then they are shallow) . Be comfortable in what you are doing.

I mean why did i even shed a tear?? 😭😭😭 It's all bring million memories. I remember when i was a lil, i listening to genie everyday and watching the the mv everyday to memorize their choreography and their faces and pick the visual. But all i see was a whole visuals. I always been amazed by them. No matter how many times i watched them. Those legs r my lifetime dream legs. The navy/genie outfit is 4ever iconic. Their songs are my mood booster. I was so happy in their golden era. Like i didn't feel anger or anything like many songs nowadays.

Taeyeon is the most famous now because she is the leader AND still active as SOLO singer. Every powerful note in SNSD's song is executed by Taeyeon. She is now recognized as best singer in KPOP. It's okay if you can't find your favorite for now, just do it slowly one by one. They are also famous for their appearence in variety shows. If you have some free time we suggested you to watch their non music related videos (like "SNSD funny moments", "SNSD savage moments", "SNSD funniest girl group", etc). We love them more because of their personality portrayed in those shows. 😊
