Love to see someone go in totally blind, as a reader this has been on my hype radar for a long time now and I’m really digging it so far! They’ve got a balance to strike between hype action and fun whackiness with the energy Kafka brings and so far they’re doing it! It’s the kind of tonal chaos that draws me to MCs like Naruto or Luffy who are strong but goofy except now it’s a guy almost too over the hill to chase his dreams in his 30s so as an adult anime fan it hits hard 😂
@@MugiwaraSosa absolutely! It’s a great read, the whacky humor meets awesome action is reflected in the art style, and the pacing is great! And if you’re ok digital vs. physical it’s easily accessible with a Shonen jump subscription (but physically 9 going on 10 volumes have released too)

im not gonna lie reading kaiju it reminded me of tokyo ghoul because of the ccg and defense force were so similar along with how they weaponzie their opps 😂😂 also funny asf
I've only seen five episodes and didn't have time to continue over the last weeks. But now I'm hearing everywhere that it sucked after that point 😅. Can somebody explain please before I decide to dedicate my time again catching up?
@@Lebowski92 There's a bigger story but so far it's just been good to alright. It's mostly funny action with cool story beats and fights, not a series that is too focused on its narrative
@@Lebowski92 There is a bigger story to it, but right now the focus is on Kafka and how he tries to realize his dream. I won't go into further detail for the sake of those who want to watch the anime with no spoilers.
I read the manga and i kinda lost interest after 70-100 chapters in, at the start it was really cool but now its getting into that shonen sterotype. But the anime is bringing me back and i might continue the manga again
This series has been great so far! Love the reaction! I did reactions to the first two eps on my channel if u wanna check them out and lmk what u think😁
