ONEUS is one of my favorite newer boy groups. They're super theatrical and their concepts are so interesting. Lots of VIXX vibes, so I was drawn to ONEUS immediately

Love that you're checking out ONEUS!!! I would love if you checked out their other songs: Lit, A Song Written Easily, To Be Or Not To Be and Come Back Home. They're such an awesome group and yesss their vocals are their strong suits being under RBW. They love covering gg songs too especially Mamamoo ofc~~ And yes for me ONEUS pulls of concepts so well, they have such a mysterious elegance to their music with great energy too. They really love their mythological concepts, and a lot of their music references celestial themes and the moon (fandom name is ToMoon, and ONEUS in Korean means "One Earth")~ Also Valkyrie is a play on word the Korean word "balkhyrie" that they say in the main chorus which means "to light up". Hence in the lyrics they're saying how their significant other is lighting their life with meaning/purpose. I would think that the lyrics is indirectly referencing the Norse mythology valkyries, saying how the strong female winged warriors are their saving grace bringing them to the light

Thanks for the reaction! Twilight was filmed in Villa Arconati and Villa Litta near Milan, Italy. The members participated ince predebut in the lyrics, composition and made their own choreography! In the credits of almost all their songs you'll find the names of Leedo and Ravn and most recent Seoho (hyung line). All of them can rap and sing and don't have a leader! In No Diggity all of them rap at a some point, for example ;) They're know as Stage Geniuses because in all their stages and choreography they tell a story with their moves, sing-rap live, change some moves and add ad libs and harmonitations too! They're from Mamamoo company, obviously vocals are on point. And they have a super diverse discography! A Song Written Easily, Lit, Bbusyeo have super different vibe. Bbusyeo was released a month before No Diggity and these 2 song are the 180° opposite in visual, sound, concept haha. And they do a LOT of play words in their songs, so in Valkyrie they did with the word Balkhiri (light us). They choreography have elements of Valkyries (wings near the end) and the start of the choreo have the soldiers fallen in battle, that represent the mission of the Valkyries: recollect the souls of the fallen soldiers and take to the Valhalla. This is important too in their storyline that connect all their MVs and live performances in a survival show called Road to Kingdom ;) yeah, stage geniuses indeed!

I’m a bit late to this video but as ONEUS is one of my top groups in the entire kpop industry I felt obligated to comment 😳 My favourite thing about ONEUS is that every music video they release is COMPLETELY different from their last one. Their songs always explore a different genre (or two, or five LOL) and the aesthetics of their videos change drastically. However, if you pay attention, you’ll realize they still have a very distinctive sound that no one else can replicate. They’re honestly incredible. Twilight is my favourite title track they’ve released, so I’m glad you liked it! I’d say the videos fans like the most are Come Back Home and To Be or Not to Be, but I love every song they make so I’d be so happy if you reacted again to anything they’ve put out so far 😃💕

I always love the opening choreo of Valkyrie where they do the 'warriors dance' where the centre (keonhee) is raising the warriors from the dead like an actual valkyrie. Also.. Valkyrie is a play on the Korean word 발키리 which means 'to light up'. You should check out 'Lit' which is iconic and just pure Korean culture, so much so DKDKtv did a breakdown of everything in the MV which is well worth watching. Then we have A Song Written Easily was released this time last year as a single albu.. then after the participated in Road to Kingdom, the released their performance song Come Back Home which comes with a whole story film, then a follow on from that was To Be or Not To Be which is just 😘👌 but the MV is a bit violent... then No Diggity was there follow up. Btw the member you kept liking was Leedo 😁 And as with all RBW groups, they are insane vocalists and performers. Hwanwoong their main dancer was 1st at SOPA for three years running (even whilst bts jungkook was studying there). All members can sing and rap, there's no leader and their positions are really flexible often they pick parts not on position but on who suits the part best.

Your opinion for Valkyrie is super interesting cause personally I think it's one of the best made debut mv's ever. The thing is, it's not about about mythological creatures how the title suggests. It's a word play caus 'valkyrie' sounds like the korean word for 'light up'. And if you look closely the whole mv is about light, not only in the aesthatics but also in the lyrics. The whole time we have a light source in the right high corner plus additional lights to accentuate the meaning. For example the Single beam of light that pierces their hearts while they sing about that special someone that is their only hope who 'lights up' their life. Also the transitions from scene to scene are super creative and never get boring. For me that music video is truly something special. Also ONEUS has a really big storyline that is kind of hard to understand at the beginning cause it doesn't completely goes in chronological order, but you Kind of guessed right with the vampire thing for Twilight. Basically Twilight is about how they were cursed (by the god Helios) with blood lust (and vampirism) and this is the last sunset before the curse starts.

live vocals, stage geniuses, versatile music, and amazing personalities-all these perfectly define oneus. i suggest you check out mvs for comeback home and lit. def the best. 🥰

the last part of No diggity belongs to their last title track "Black Mirror". The other main tracks missing are LIT, A Song Written Easily, To Be or Not to Be and Black Mirror. You will see how each of them are completely different, hope you can take a look. About Valkyrie, the MV is quite subtle but knowing the background you will realize how detailed is, the main point of the name is that the word in korean means 'light' so is a wordplay but it also have some references to north mythology, for example the starting position of the choreo is called "the dance of the war dead" and the members are fallen warriors waiting for the Valkyrie, this was explained by Oneus itself. I know it makes no sense at first but it actually does and all their title tracks have some sort of connection behind, maybe not directly but the whole concept and album itself does, reading Oneus theories is a whole experience. There are also connections between some of their songs(including bsides) and even their choreos! hope you can take a look at more of their job :) thanks for the comments and for taking the time to know each member more, it's appreciated!

Valkyrie play on the word "bal-ghi-li" which mean shining in Korean. The lyrics roughly mean the girl like a Valkyrie light up thier life.

My highest recommendation will be 'Lit' and 'A song written easily' by Oneus. Fun fact: 1thek is always credited bc the main company of 1thek is kakao m and almost all kpop songs are distributed by kakao m. Oneus are great and amazing!!! Twilight is my 2nd fav song from Oneus. The mv is maybe filmed in Prague About Valkyrie, they don't use that word, but it's the korean word balghili which can be translated as Light up, but I'm not sure, I don't know korean XD I think I hear this from Form of Therapy reaction video XD I don't remember, it's been like 2 years XD

I want to point something out for the last song Valkyrie. I believe they only named the song Valkyrie because that word is similar to a Korean word that they say multiple times in the song, it means light I believe. I forgot what the Korean word was but it sounds very similar to Valkyrie, which is why they named the song that. I will also say that Valkyrie is one of my least favorite videos. If you wanna check out an awesome video from them then you should definitely check out Come Back Home. One more thing! ONEUS has a brother group called ONEWE, Xion, the one you called Jr. Hyunjin and the maknae of ONEUS, has a twin brother in the group ONEWE.

Oneus= concept kings! "Come Back Home" and "To Be or Not To Be" are literally like films, so I hope you check them out. And since you love Twilight's scenery, I suggest A Song Written Easily. It's an insanely beautiful MV ^_^ Personally, I listen to and watch Lit and Bbusyeo just to pump up my energy

About Valkyrie, the best part is the music show promotions though. They switched choreo for the Matrix part, I wouldn't say every show, but most stages had its own version. In one, the one getting shot (it's Ravn btw) shoot back, in other, another member (Leedo) jump out and take the bullet for him, another one, everyone getting shot, yet another one, they shoot at the audience. It was very exciting to see what they gonna pull out next. It's also what make them dubbed as "Stage genius" right after their debut. Anyone miss out on them back then really should at least check out an compilation.

U have to watch “ a song written easily “!!!!!! And “lit”, these two are the reason why I became their fan. Oh, and Valkyrie is their debut song. It’s hwanwoong but more sounds like hwanhong in Korean. And the guy u like in “twilight” is actually Leedo.

Oneus are more like "Theater Performers" not much of a hard choreo(like other boy groups) and I think it makes them unique, their sound is also not very hard in the ears like Twilight... No Diggity is a song to show their Dance skills and also as it is for their 1st Full album, the budget is higher than their previous MVs.
