First Reaction to The Warning - Choke (Live and MV) - Singer Reacts 

Oh man...I don't know how you watched this video and haven't watched a single one since! I watched my first video a week ago and am now on about 500! Tell me how to resist the temptation haha.

These girls are incredible! They have done so many great performances since you reacted to them. They also have five new songs that are all amazing. Hope to see you react to The Warning again. 👑🔥⚡️🤘🏼💖

For a three piece these ladies are a phenomenal wall of sound. They are excellent live and write all their own music and lyrics. You can't go wrong with anything in their catalog. They are so talented that all their songs are good. Their second record, Queen of the Murder Scene, has great songs on it. One of my favorites, but one which hardly ever (if ever) gets recommended is The Sacrifice.

They are just 21, 19 and 16 here and this is their 1st single from their coming 3rd album already. The 2nd single Evolve is every bit as good as this. They first got recognized 7 years ago covering Enter Sandman when they were 9, 12 nd 14 years old. Everything in between is so very good.

I discovered The Warning by random recommendation in a TedX talk around 4 years ago. I have been a fan ever since. I really hope to see them live some day. Evolve is their newest song, and it kicks butt.

Just like everyone who hears and sees these 3 beautiful sisters , your at first so amazed you cant really find the words to explain how you feel!! These young women are a true Power Trio and the best thing to hit the Rock scene for years! Theyve got 2 other albums besides this one, and I recomend the songs 21st century blood, Narcicista, Survive, oh hell look up the many live concert videos there are and find one with good sound quality, theres alot online that where recorded on phones or plain cameras and the sound is not right, but when you find the right one be prepared to be astounded, theres also single videos official videos, and the 2nd time on TED-X which is an amazing performance, delve into their history and how theyve come so far in the last 7 years literally starting as children and now beautiful young women, ALEJANDRA the tall beauty on Bass was originally the shortest of the sisters and her Bass looked bigger then her!! She is also the youngest. Paulina is the middle sister and the Drumner her nickname is "Pow, the shredder" and I've heard professional drummers say shes quite possibly one of the worlds best drummers today, Daniella the oldest lead singer and Guitar is absolutely amazing with her stage presence and her energy!! Long live the Warning!!

Very good job, Sabina. I enjoyed your reaction and comments about the band. I have nothing to add to the TWA comments below that have covered most everything. What really hooked me was watching their early videos as kids and then seeing the progression into the seasoned musicians that they have become. When you see that you can't help but love these girls.

They recently recorded a far superior production quality live version of Choke that is the best version so far! But they have a second single out from this upcoming album, called Evolve with both an official video and an excellent live studio version with Shauntrack they recorded at his studio while on vacation. Evolve rocks harder. 🤘

Greetings from Fresno, California, USA. Great 1st time reaction to The Warning Sabina! I am surprised - 1) That I am just now seeing this. 2) That this doesn't have more views (You have a lot of subscribers). 3) I now see that I watched the first half of this video in a separate/different upload of your's. Was this upload blocked for a time before RU-vid released it for public consumption? This song is the 1st single off of their yet to be released 3rd full-length LP. From the drummer Paulina: "Choke is about being so overwhelmed by your feelings that you start to drown on them and choke on them and we really wanted the song to reflect that hopelessness you sometimes feel and just offer it to everyone as a safe place to feel those feelings and just like a place of comfort for them". The Villarreal sisters are amazing songwriters and performers. Each one of their original songs is an absolute banger. Their second album, "Queen of the Murder Scene", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and psychosis and eventually suicide. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI Century Blood", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "Escape the Mind"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group last fall. We are all patiently awaiting their 3rd album release. The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 5, 5 and 3 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are just 21, 19 and 16 years old now and have already written and arranged 45 original songs all by themselves! I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans. Ellen and Target paid for them to attended Berklee School of Music in 2015 for 5 weeks while there they were told how important stage presence is and they took it to heart and it helps they love performing for their fans. The live version is from their home studio they call the Cave. Its where they got their start and where they continually perform from when not on the road. They always have had a great attitude while performing. I would suggest one of our fan favorite performances is either Unmendable or Survive from their Tedx performance in 2017 thanks have a great day/night

Sabina - you should react to their 2nd album called *Queen of the Murder Scene* in chronological order. It's a concept album that The Warning calls a Rock Novel. There's 13 songs. *Dust to Dust* is the Epilogue song while the other twelve is broken down into 4 chapters with 3 songs for each chapter. It's a story about a woman that's obsessed & in love with someone who doesn't know she exists. Then she becomes psychotic. Fun for the whole family.

Did you notice that in the live version Dany (the singer) did a hair flip and it got in her eye? By the end of the song, that eye is closed. Ya gotta carry on no matter what!

I’d also recommend their TEDx Talk at the U of Nevada where they play 3 originals off of their 1st album. Then anything from their Live at Lunario performance debuting their 2nd album. And finally, follow up single to “Choke” which is Evolve. Keep up the good work

On their RU-vid channel, they recently posted several live performances from their show at Teatro Metropolitan, where the audio and video quality are top notch.
