That's an adorable objective :-) T'au do shoot well, the big thing about Ret Cadre is its ability to get in and out, and punish things that try to hit up (as in, weaker infantry trying to tie up vehicles). With your bonus not coming in till they're in charge range, you played into SM strength of being decent in every phase. You may be better in shooting, but not by much unless you're guiding. SM's get an entire extra phase, your job is to minimize that

Ya man Tau are a precision army and really benefit from terrain. Awesome battle setting though!

I played RC against Votann. I had a blast. what a refreshing feeling to be able to play agressive ! no waiting. Ended up a a small victory for me. Maybe the lack of terrain on your map is a reason for your defeat.

Yeah pitched battles with no cover are never going to help Tau. Still managed to down the dread and the bikes though. Looking forward to seeing a Tau vs. TSons battle report ;)
