Man this thing is sweet.
I have some ideas already for this bad boy. Im going to get it set up for my sprayer and spreader for sure. Im going to be putting some lights on it. And I have a few ideas on some new tires at least and maybe wheels.
Well it may need some exhaust.

Since they manufactured it with a compartment to hold an extra belt, chances are it is not "the belt system to have". Yamaha has a 10 year belt warranty. CVT + centrifugal clutch is why they have so much confidence in the belt life. If I were a betting man, Ide bet the belt system to have would be in a Yamaha. Aside from that, the Commander looks sweet.

Same reason your car has a spare tire. Things happen. And when you’re out alone in no-man’s land with no cell service and something happens…yeah you want that extra belt to get you back home. And it’s great that it doesn’t take up space in your actual storage compartments.

Enjoy your new ride, I am also a new sxs guy. I went with a 2020 Yamaha X2 brand new 2 miles. Love it , still adding all kinds of lights. Chase Lights,42 inch Led on top. 6 inch bumper light, Grab Handles,Side mirrors( A Must have for me), accent lights. The only drawback is living in Texas Nowhere to ride except atv parks "Thanx Fer Sharin"

We bought the 2022 Can- am commander XMR 1000r Been waiting a while for but once we got it we found out that it was extremely tall extremely tall on 30" tires . that are pretty beefy But noticed from the factory that it was extremely squishy with the suspension so I tightened it up 2 notches and it seemed to handle a lot better we live in Maine just purchased the machine 3 weeks ago And there is nothing but rocks and a shit ton of snow that set a lot of things uneven . so the rolling factor was there Thinking of putting the 2" wheel spacers on it Yet to widen the stance since Maine is full of nothing about mountains and hills top speed so far has been 72. You guys did a good a job on The whole review of the commander!

Which dealer did you purchase your machine from and how long did you wait? I ordered a 2022 can am maverick sport dps 1000r in January. I was told June I would have it. We are from Maine as well. I ordered mine from Pittsfield dealer.

@@jolenebailey3821 North country Harley Davidson in Augusta Their service is excellent and they have several of those machines on hand right now Fresh out of the crate They are the number one dealer in New England for side-by-sides I was waiting for them to actually release the Commander xmr back in October . Called in December they said they had 2 of them coming in One was my name on it I was able to pick it up 1st couple weeks of January But if you're having a rough time finding what you want I would give North country Harley Davidson a call And tell them Eric Baker sent you I know they have a couple of X three's with Turbos on them as well

I saw this post on this site I have a commander XMR and it's bad-ass had to set the suspension up to clicks yeah the suspension of 2 clicks because I felt like it was 2 squishy and rollie Ours is a 2022 1000 R Tightening up the suspension was a big thing but it could stand to be 2" wider We just got our ordered machine in 2 weeks ago Here in Maine

@@kifferpete7987 I am working on 3 weeks of owning it now and I love the wind spot where it you ever need to get out of a rough spot you live in Nova Scotia I live in Maine so it's a pretty close thing if the snow gets deep in the wind just shut up high it gives that downward pressure on the front tires and having the 4 different 4 wheel drive settings This is awesome . 2 wheel drive. All wheels drive. mud mode. Trail mode. And then true locking of the front if you choose or rear if you choose or both The arms are beefed right up Super thick . If you had a Facebook I would send you pictures of what I've done
