This was the most surreal cycle ride of my life. I was determined to stay indoors till the lockdown was lifted, but after the super cyclone Amphan hit Kolkata.. I had to go out and witness all that has been affected by Mother Nature's Wrath. A major life lesson from this is we human are very tiny and puny when it comes to any calamities caused by Mother Nature. We are all the same when it comes to what the Mother has to offer us. She decides who lives and who dies. We are all so temporary and fragile always trying to express our opinions to justify our existence, but we don't realise all we can do is sit back and feel lucky to witness this gorgeous performance of Nature. This ride was a different kind of an experience where I just felt more numb than sad. Guess the whole human civilization is going through a massive change and all these instances are our tests to master stillness inside no matter how much chaos and destruction has affected the outside. Also relearning "Acceptance" in a new form and understanding Murphy's Law - What has to happen will happen, to a deeper level.
